Description
Kansas City Southern Southern Belle L&A Scheme

Kansas City Southern Lines was founded in 1887 in Kansas City, Missouri. KCS were early adopters of diesel power and the Southern Belle was their flagship train from Kansas City to New Orleans. This locomotive is the Electro-Motive Corperation (EMC) E3 in the Kansas City Southern/ Louisiana & Arkansas Railway "Southern Belle" Scheme.

The Southern Belle was a passenger train between Kansas City, Missouri and New Orleans, Louisiana. The train started service in September 1940 and ran until November 1969. This train is based off their early 1940s scheme. The Southern Bell was Kansas City Southern's flagship passenger train and even today they still run a heritage train using F units.
