FitnessGains XP Mod

Description
This mod is intended to make excercise more feasible to improving character stats. Currently running for version 41.46

Ups the gains from excercise by 10 times the normal XP gain (x10 multiplier)

While this may seem like a large jump, you will still need to excercise about 30 times (for example, squats) to get from level 4 to lvl 5 (approximation)

Enjoy! And please check out my other mods as well..

@Tim yeah I also have a backpacks mod and in making updates over multiple mods (I ended up losing my original files) it ended up with the backpacks description in the files. Nothing that crashes the mod (other than the now incompatibility with latest version). :steamfacepalm:

In mod description says "this adds many backpacks" what?

Name I cannot type below me, I believe mod's settings are bound to each client individually unfortunately, I think there is a way to force the server to override the settings but I'm not sure if that's accurate.

So if you changed the mod for you from 10x to 5x, your fitness gains would be 5x but anyone who still has it as 10x get that 10x, even if the server has the settings changed.

Again this could be inaccurate, I'm not even sure where I got this info from but I vaguely remember reading something about Brita's weapons jamming chance settings being per-player and not server-wide

For those who want to modify the xp gains, find the mod location, open FitnessExercises.lua, edit the xpMod field of every exercise to the multiplier you want.

Ex: "xpMod = 10" is 10x xp, "xpMod = 3" is 3x

Save after editing, reload

Can the modification take effect on the server?

I do not like to be a stick in the mud but if you are not happy with the progress on the NPC update, you should take a look at 7D2D. Both games have been in development for nearly the same amount of time and yet Zomboid on its own with practically the same amount of features feels far more polished and from what we can see also far more able to actually implement NPCs fairly soon.

Like I said, I dont like to be a stick in the mud. But as someone who has been part of both communities for a long time as well now, believe me when I say that the NPC update is coming and I bet its coming sooner than any of us will expect it. At the very least the Devs here seem competent to bring out a proper update on things.

Thank you!
@Flash
Also I totally agree with everything you've said.
I still remember around 6 years ago on their forums talking about adding NPCs soon.
Lol..... Oof

@Interknet Im not maintaining this mod anymore since I dont have the time for it. If you wish to add this to your mod, you can do so :)

Sorry for being unable to update my mods. Increasingly frustrating having been on PZ for so long and never seeing the NPC update, very slow progress with frequent version changes and base code changes every other update that breaks mods or needs version updates.
