"You're fine! They work on my RH Belgium Sofas, Chairs, and Loveseats. As well as any other seats or beds I make in the future. They might not work on my first couple of posts of sofas because I was still trying to figure out the program then. (I may go back and fix those eventually)
For seating or beds in the base game, they might not work due to how the meshes were made for those objects. Same goes for other creator's work. If a creator does not customize the Box Collider for an object, then it has restrictions on how the object can interact with other objects.
I hope this helps! Thank you <3"
