Description
Fred Supremacy

In the murky depths of the swamp, lives an alligator called Fred. For years, he has been living peacefully in the waters up until the infection finally hit Louisiana and forced his relatives to move to safer waters. Being the last of his kind in the swamp, he has sought refuge in Whispering Oaks hiding away, waiting for a certain crew to rescue and find him a new home.

its really canon. in the update patch a week ago, in one of the notes for swamp fever, it specifically says " By popular community request the TLS Swamp gator is now canonically named Fred. " so now its canon. congrats
