Dynamic Debris Removal

Description
The ultimate performance mod for Teardown!

This mod gives better performance on default settings than any other performance mod I've found, all without compromising gameplay or details.

It removes small objects and debris, but only works when it's needed. If you hit the target framerate, nothing will be removed. As you FPS drops, more and larger objects will be removed until it's back to normal. It can scale to remove more and larger objects than other performance mods, but will only do so when absolutely needed.

This should help with both CPU and GPU limited scenerios. You'll still get frame drops with massive explosions, but they will clear up in a matter of seconds.

Like other, similar mods, this will NOT improve FPS when no destruction has occurred.

Still having issues? GPU Limited? Check out my guide for more tricks to boost performance in Teardown

v1.1
- Object deletion is faster, presets adjusted accordingly
- Target FPS slider clamped to 40 instead of 30 (Values below 40 would cause excess deletion)
- Fixed an issue where error messages would show up after loading from a quicksave
v1.2
- Settings look a little nicer
- Now properly defaults to "medium," even if options are never opened
- Uses my lib for future compatibility

I set the remove size to 90~100 voxels (units), lowest target possible with the highest curve). Works pretty well but can sometimes break chains of nitroglycerin, usually doesn't though unless you stick it to debris. This mod will also put out fire that's further from you if performance is low, which can sometimes really lag things if let go (so it's good it does it, it's no fun playing at 5fps).
My 3950x CPU might live a little longer provided I don't blow another 1300w PSU on this game this month (it took out a few-years-old Seasonic last week which went off like a gun shot an hour after I closed the game, but it spared ALL of the other hardware!).

don't download this garbage. it ruins the destruction. what fun is it for a building on fire to be deleted even when its not lagging. i literally set the target to 40 frames and it wasn't even lagging and it deleted my debris. uninstall this and just ignore lag.:steamthumbsdown:

I recommend putting extreme if you're game lags a lot:steamhappy:

wouldnt a lower target fps result in less deletion?
