NPCs Hide From Bosses

now the NPCs have a actually brain

that would be great! i usually play with invincible/imortal town NPC cause i like them being around and being useful and more of a character rather than walking shops, but they usually just hide whenever there is threat and i've been looking around to no avail for some option to let them defend the town. I'd be very thankful ^^

It should be. I haven’t looked at town NPC AI in a while, but it shouldn’t be that hard.

Is it possible to have something like the opposite? Where Town NPCs won't hide indoors at night or rain
