  • Lowboy
    • Double 3/3 Special (3-axle jeep + 3-axle trailer, no spreader): This trailer can carry the same loads as the full 3/3/3, I added it because I just don't like the spreader.

*High chance of clipping issues when taking them out of the garage or when being towed to a service station, use caution. These trailers have exclamation points (!!!) on the end of their name to identify them.

All B-Train combinations are listed under B-Double chain type for their respective trailers. Bottom Dumper combinations are listed under TP Double or Triple. They use the stock trailer models so they're compatible with rim/tire/paintjob/etc DLCs. I've also unlocked side skirts for the box trailers (they aren't normally available for B-train variants) and unlocked left side cargo boxes for shorter fuel trailers (right side ones would interfere with fuel lines but there's no reason for the left side ones to not be available).

Additionally, to make using these trailers worthwhile, I've changed every state to have a maximum vehicle weight of 200 tons. There's still a per-axle weight limit of 10 tons per axle though (so you'll need 20 axles total to hit 200 tons). None of the trailers in this mod have that many axles, but I got a request to make even longer trailers, because some of y'all are crazy like that. It will be separate from this mod though as anything longer than what's already here will absolutely cause clipping issues. There's also no state length restrictions on these, you can use them anywhere (anywhere they will fit, that is). Maybe that's unrealistic, but then I'm pretty sure no states allow B-Quads anyways. Just pretend that you've got an oversize load permit for every job.

Ludicrously long trailers are now available:

If you need some more power to pull these trailers, I made a mod for that too:

Good Afternoon - are there any plans to update this for 1.55 as it changes the speed limits for ai vehicles and how if calculates the trip times when looking at contracts

Should be fixed now. Made a typo when entering the weight limit for it.

It only works for owned trailers. If you go into the configurator (either in the trailer store or configuring a trailer you already own) the options should be there, assuming you downloaded and activated the mod.

Everything seems fine with my mod. Only thing I can think of is you're hauling something that hits the cargo volume limit before the cargo weight limit (like cardboard or something).

Thanks a lot. BTW, could you please take a look at your Box/Insulated/Reefer B-Double (7 axle)? The maximum load listed in Cargo Market is almost 105k pounds. But when I get to the scales, cross weight is just about 110k pounds. The truck (VNL 860) itself is 20k pounds! It does feel much lighter than the listed 105k pounds when driving.
