I want a mod that allows the clown power without any clown gear. I want to play assistant but I just think clowns ruin the game

I needed to bring the mod up to date with vanilla anyway, so while I was doing that I bashed together a simple item that should let you manually give yourself the vanilla Clown College talent. I hope that helps, but I'm not sure how Vanilla+ handles Clown Power and stuff related to it.

i love the mod idea but i have a question
im using only one other clown mod aka vanilla plus clown job none of the mods override the assistant role yet the problem is when i get the enroll into clown college talent it uses the one from vanilla+ clown job and even if i use console commands to attempt to get the correct one added it simply wont function , im not gonna put any pressure on you to fix it but it would be neat
if you can figure something out. maybe a special medal item that gives that specific talent functioning the same way as that mod?

That's probably the issue. Clown Power is defined as part of the Clown College talent, and overrides in Barotrauma are destructive, so you only get the effect of whichever mod loads last.

Only clown related mod I have is one that fixed Clown Power to work with Olympian again, and restores the Horn's healing and buff affects.

Also, are you using it with any other mods? It will conflict with any mod that modifies that talent.

Did you try it by just spawning the item in through the debug console? You still need to take the 'Enroll into Clown College' talent in order to be eligible to get Clown Power.

I tried it and it didn't activate Clown Power

Yes, it works with the Clown Diving Mask. Theoretically, it should also work with any mod-added mask that has the proper item tags.
