ACQUAINTED [DEMO VERSION]

Welcome to Acquainted! This is a map that takes all that starting rooms of the zombie maps from World at War and Black Ops 1 and merges them all into one with their own unique themes! It's a nice throwback to the maps that started the zombies experience we have today.

This map is a demo-only currently. There are definitely bugs in the map, some I know about, some I don't. If you find any please let me know! Some areas of the map also get massive frame drops. I'm a new mapper and am still learning the basics of mapping and how to optimise them properly, so the complete version of this map will definitely have no lag. The main reason I am uploading this now is because I'm desperate for feedback on this map concept. I've worked on this map for over a month now, took a month break too due to burnout with it and to give me time to work on other maps. And I just didn't know whether to continue with it or not, and really I still don't.

Other than the drawbacks that won't be there in the final version, such as the lag and bugs, I would love to hear what you like and dislike about this map! That's the best way I can improve it after all, to see what the community actually wants from a map. Do you think this idea of merging all the starting rooms into one is good, or should I just stop now? ^^ The main thing I can't decide on is the theme. Is the current theme okay where each of the rooms have their own separate theme? Or should all the rooms share the same theme to make it look more natural. If I was to choose a specific theme to go over the whole map, I would probably go with the Ascension futuristic looking theme myself, but would love to hear your thoughts! Please give me your feedback in the comments!

Other than that, here's the map! Despite the lag, I really hope you enjoy this first experience!

Current starting rooms in this map are: Nacht Der Untoten, Shi No Numa, Der Riese, Kino Der Toten and Ascension. All the rest will be added in future updates.
