This map is based on the prototype of the real house of rock musician Egor Letov in Omsk, which was the studio of Coffin records, where many songs of Civil Defense, Communism, Egor and other projects were recorded. The map is a sample of the 00s, since the apartment itself has changed over time and now looks different.

A little background: Igor (Egor) Fedorovich Letov (1964-2008) - Soviet and Russian musician, founder, leader and the only permanent member of the group "Civil Defense" is also known for the musical projects "Egor and the Fallen", "Communism" and others.

Egor Letov took up musical activity in the early 1980s in Omsk, forming in 1982, together with Andrei "Boss" Babenko, the rock band "Sowing" and on November 8, 1984, Letov and musician Kuzya Uo created the rock band "Civil Defense", also known by the acronyms "Coffin" and "GO." Egor Letov used the same abbreviation for the name of his home studio ("Coffin Records")
At the end of 1985, a struggle began with the group on the part of the authorities, and political repressions were carried out against Egor Letov and his group. In the late autumn of 1985, Letov was sent to a mental hospital for compulsory treatment. Letov stayed there from December 8, 1985 to March 7, 1986
In 1987-1989, Egor Letov and his associates recorded a number of albums such as: "Red Album", "Mousetrap", "This is how steel was tempered", "Everything goes according to plan", "Russian field of experiments" and so on
Despite the semi-underground existence of the musicians and the "Coffin Studio", by the end of the 1980s and especially in the early 1990s they became widely known in the USSR, mainly in youth circles; according to some estimates, hundreds of thousands of people became fans of the band.

In the early 1990s, Egor Letov, who by that time had stopped the concert activities of the Civil Defense and announced the dissolution of the group, recorded the albums "Jump-Skip" (1990) and "One Hundred Years of Solitude" (1992) as part of the psychedelic project "Egor and the Dead", which are among his most popular albums. In 1993, Letov reassembled the "Civil Defense" for concert and studio activities. During the same period, he became one of the leaders of the national communist rock movement "Russian Breakthrough", led an active tour. In 1994-1998, Yegor Letov supported the National Bolshevik Party. During the same period, the band went in a different direction, changing the genre to psychedelic rock.

In the 00s, the band actively released new psychedelic albums and also actively performed in a new line-up in all cities of the CIS and beyond. The most important event was the release of the latest album "Why do you dream? in 2007, according to Letov, this is the best album in his work.

Egor Letov died suddenly in Omsk on February 19, 2008 at the age of 43. According to the initial version, the cause of death was cardiac arrest, although later another version appeared: acute respiratory failure, developed from alcohol poisoning... F
