If you look at the features and resources credited you'll see why it doesn't work with AAE. There is an engine limit on entities and scripts and AAE causes them to often be hit.
Thing is, AAE is starting to get dated and also it's "lite" version is not that light at all. In fact, if you were to use the UEM you would probably be able to run this map because that mod even at full uses less resources than AAE lite does.
AAE itself needs changes to be better compatible with custom maps, rather than the other way around. Half of AAE features don't even work atm due to windows updates; unless you are on a very old beta version; and just run scripts/reduce compatibility without even doing anything anymore.
