Description
After Three days of Development, Moody's HL2 RTX Weapons port is (mostly) Complete. Due to the files available in the demo, the StunStick, Alyxgun, and SLAM are not able to be ported at the moment, but I got pretty much every other Weapons-related thing

Thanks! And have some un-ray traced fun!

Update!: Changed some material variables, Reintegrated the AR2 Worldmodel with a new set of lower size textures to see if that fixes the issue

i think the lower size textures are fixing the textures because when this first released things like the revolver and pistol were bright now they fit the texture of the hev hands which makes it look much nicer then what it did before

So that means the map doesn't have any envmaps, and that's what's causing the issue you're having

r_showenvmaps 1 gives me black textures to all npcs and props

I dunno, man, try mat_phong 1 as well. If that does nothing, use r_showenvmaps 1 to see if it's just the map not having any envmaps

okay so I use launch options of "+mat_specular 1" but unfortunately it's still the same problem I swear I have turn mat_specular to 1 but do you think it's the materials problem for the weapons?
