Multiplayer up to 8 players

Shout out to Lethamyr for the original Luigi's Mansion map layout and design

• Item Boxes: Hit them to get classic Mario Kart items like shells, mushrooms, bananas, and more!
  
• Kickoff Boost: Pull throttle precisely between “2” and “1” during the countdown to launch ahead of your opponents
  
• Track Hazards: Stay on the track — the grass & swamp will slow you down
  
• Lap System: Displays your current lap on-screen. Compete with your opponents to win first place by finishing a set number of laps first

Hold the scoreboard for 3 seconds to enter the settings menu where the host has access to additional game settings. Additionally, all players can access customization options. Navigate through the settings menu with chat buttons. The on-screen D-Pad indicates the direction corresponding to each chat number for KBM players
***Enter menu as spectator before joining teams to adjust settings before the race***
***Make sure all players have joined the game before editing settings***
***To exit as spectator, double click left while hovering in the categories menu (left column)***

• Demos: Off
  
• Boost: Default
  
• Game Time: Unlimited

• Shells: Fire forward by default — shoot backward by firing while looking behind you.
  
• Bananas: Can only be dropped while your car is on the ground
  
• Mushrooms: Instantly makes you supersonic in the direction your car is facing.
  
• Golden Mushroom: A reusable mushroom — use it multiple times over an 8-second window.
  
• Star Power: Increases ground acceleration and grants invincibility to shells, bananas, and grass slow effects.
  
• Boost Pad: Instantly refills your boost meter.
