For people falling out of map, do a /bind n noclip or any other key.
So you place a secret button somewhere within the spawn area but dont say anything about it ingame until you get the morality core and enter the final elevator that takes the player to the main playable space.
If you want some ideas on what he will say than he could say something like "Oh by the way, why did you decide to go through all that when there was a button that could have skipped all of this? Not that it matters ofcourse."
If and when the player notices this they will be curious and go check it out the next time they restart.
I think this also fits a sorta Portal vibe with the world interaction and better yet having a morality core like Weatley in which many loved.
