Description
This major update focuses on fixing existing bugs in Clear Sky while introducing new and exciting features:

1. Critical PKM Weapon Bug Fix
The "7.62 PP" ammunition type suffered from file corruption during GSC Game World’s porting of Clear Sky from PC to console and back to PC, specifically missing model files for PKM bullets. This caused errors with all PKM-related content.
In this version, we’ve restored the original Clear Sky files, though the bullet icon remains missing. Despite our testing, the game no longer errors out, but whether icon-less bullets will cause crashes remains unknown. Advice: If you pick up a PKM firing "7.62x54 PP" ammo, empty the magazine into the sky immediately. If the ammo is in your inventory, sell it to merchants or place it in disappearing NPC corpses for system cleanup.

2. Sound Files Missing Fix
Similarly, sound files for some weapons are missing, resulting in "BEEP" noises during firing/reloading. Since we can’t identify all affected weapons, we’ve replaced all weapon sounds with those from Call of Pripyat (hence the large patch size).

If sound issues persist, please report them in the mod’s Discussion Q&A section.

3. Close Range Weapon Overhaul

• We significantly increased hip-fire recoil for shotguns while reducing aimed recoil and crosshair recovery speed for a more realistic feel.

• Learning from the overly powerful close range weapons in Reckless S.T.R.E.L.O.K., we’ve nerfed base damage and range for close range weapons (sawed-off shotguns and MP5s). Planned damage/range boosts are now tied to the gunsmith system, ensuring players can enjoy powerful late-game close range gear without accidentally killing key NPCs with base versions.

4. New Special Weapons!
Five new weapons join side quest rewards:

• Inscribed PMM: Complete a Garbage stalker’s delivery quest to earn this upgraded PMM, with boosted damage, fire rate, and magazine capacity—ideal for emergencies. (Is this… the same as Major Degtyarev’s?)

• Special Desert Eagle: Remember the 9x39 ammo Desert Eagle from Shadow of Chernobyl? It’s back! Retrieve it for a Garbage stalker to claim this lethal tool.

• Bandit’s Winchester 1300: A ruthless bandit terrorized the Garbage with this powerful shotgun—until karma struck. Recover it for his crew to get your own. Its massive damage comes with heavy recoil and a reduced 4-round capacity: a reminder to stay humble (or risk getting shot while reloading).

• Ripper’s SPAS 12: A Duty member at the Agroprom Institute thought he was untouchable by bandits and mutants, thanks to this fast-firing shotgun - turns out, he was wrong. At least he was a brave hunter who fought to protect stalkers; let’s raise a toast to him… um, sorry, I forgot Duty don’t drink. Well, at least we get a badass weapon out of it.

• Duty Member’s AN94: It seems losing weapons is a bit of a trend among Duty members at Agroprom - this one’s no exception. This special AN94 keeps the factory-set 2-round burst mode, firing at a blazing 1800 RPM with pinpoint accuracy (almost hit the same spot). The downside? The previous owner removed full-auto to keep it precise. But hey, less wear and tear means it lasts longer—you win some, you lose some.

5. Adjustments to Specific Weapons

• L85: Its fire rate has been reduced to 650 RPM, but the full-auto firing mode has been restored. If you want a 3-round burst mode, you can convert it to 5.45 caliber, which will increase the fire rate by 150 RPM.

• AK74 & AN94: The "caliber conversion" modification now increases the fire rate by 100 RPM and reduces bullet spread by 0.08, while decreasing the magazine capacity by 10 rounds.

• MP5: The "caliber conversion" modification changes the weapon to .45 caliber (though the text and UI still display 9x18). We doubled the damage but reduced the fire rate by 250 RPM and the magazine capacity by 20 rounds. We know some of you are big fans of the UMP45, and well, this is a solid substitute with impressive damage!

6. Expanded Merchant Inventories
A good gun is nothing without good ammo, and in the vanilla Clear Sky, some types of ammo are just too hard to come by. That’s why we’ve expanded the inventories of two merchants:

• Suslov (Clear Sky Merchant): We’ve added more types of ammo to his stock. As player's level increases, Suslov will also start selling high-tier armor and artifacts.

• Shilov (Loners Merchant): We’ve moderately increased the variety of bullets available at the Loners’ Blockpost camp merchant. However, we haven’t added any high-end ammo—this stays true to the stalker world.

@Soviet_surplus_enjoyer it turns out to be problem made by GSC themselves, I unpacked Enhanced Edition again and didn't find 'dynamics/weapons/wpn_ammo/ammo_pkm.ogf' you mentioned in crach logs, whereas it could be actually located in unpacked files of original Clear Sky edition. Together we found another file loss which is shot sound of Winchester 1300 shotgun, we will fix these glitches in the next addons, thank you again for your timely feedback, and let's mock at GSC Game World together

i encountered a crash when attacking duty's main base that i think is from this mod so i figured i would send the crash log so hopefully it can be fixed also this is literally the best mod ever and fixes all my problems with this game thank youuuuu
