Brief history of the New Haven Railroad:

The New York, New Haven, and Hartford railroad, more commonly known as the new haven, was a class 1 railroad formed from the merger of the New York and New Haven and Hartford and New Haven railroads. Early on in the new havens history, the railroad mainly focused on expanding their lines and acquiring other railroads to create a larger and more profitable railroad. later in 1947, the New Haven was struck with financial troubles, forcing the railroad to go into its first bankruptcy. in the coming years the railroad struggled to keep is head above the water, with dieselizing early and getting a flashy new design helping it hold up, but even these efforts couldn't keep the railroad alive. in 1969, the New Haven was dragged into a merger with the Pennsylvania Railroad and the New York Central, creating the ill-fated penn central railroad, that would later lead to the largest bankruptcy in the United States history up to that point.

while the New Haven railroad wasn't that lucky in the end, the steam that the railroad rostered cant be ignored. The New Haven had very flashy locomotives, but unfortunately, none of the steam from the railroad could be saved. In This pack though, you can relive the railroad's golden days of steaming through new England.
