Up-Side-Down - Easy

Description
This is my first Portal Community map. Took me a bit of time to create this and even had to learn about logic gates. Trying to get familiar with the in-game editor.
Feedback is very much appreciated, I hope to make harder maps sometime.

Difficulty: Easy

Q: Why are the lasers there?
A: That is the OR logic gate. :) (To independently connect 2 buttons to the same thing. If there is another way to do this, I'm all eyes!) I made it visible behind a window for decorative purposes, since you would still hear the laser sound effects anyway.

A fairly fun chamber. Packs quite a few things to do within a fairly small space, which is nice.

Thanks everybody!

And I completely agree, dmuk! If you did a mistake you should not be required to reset the whole map for it! I actively tested for that even if it started to drive me insane. :D

Good cube transport chamber. Everything there is needed in some way, which means the tester only has to think thru the steps. I like that you can go back if, for instance, you drop a cube...

Yeah, knowing the basic logic gate methods made me think of Minecraft's redstone, heh. I'll check out your mods sometime, but the ones with BEEmod will have to wait as I stay with vanilla Portal 2 for a while. I'll be sure to check those out eventually, thanks!

Thank you, Vatos Locos. The laser and relay is to create an OR gate. You can't connect 2 buttons to the same thing independently; It would mean that you had to press both buttons at the same time if you wanted to change the polarity. Obviously that was not possible here. :)

I decided to have a window to the laser thing purely as decoration (and to give other new map makers an idea in case they stumbled on the same issue as I did). If the laser sound could have been turned off, I would have been more than happy to keep that little room hidden. I just found it weird to have laser sound effects going on and not seeing a laser anywhere.

I have tried BEEmod and think it is interesting. I might eventually venture in that direction, but for now I have uninstalled that mod so I can create vanilla maps until I get bored with its limitations. This map is vanilla. :p2cube:
