*A note about the guide button - If you are using the standard Xbox 360 (Or Wireless) Controller Windows 8.1 Drivers, it will install a utility that will always map the guide button to open a small utility that shows the controller ID and battery level in a little window. This will interrupt the game and switch to the desktop to bring it up (which can be annoying). If you so choose, you can actually uninstall the utility and the drivers will stay intact and your controller will continue to function normally giving you complete control of the guide button so it will not interrupt the game when going to the menu. I would keep a copy of the driver on hand in case you actually do need to re-install it later, just in case. It's also available on Microsoft.com (for now) if you need to download it again. That being said, I am not responsible for any problems or issues as a result of uninstalling or making changes to your system so DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I really wanted to spend some time creating a custom gamepad profile that really is intuitive because this is one of those games that is difficult to translate to a controller. The infinity engine lends itself to mouse and keyboard becuase there is a lot of point and click functions as well as dragging item options and multiple selections that make it somewhat challenging; however, because the game does (or rather allows and encourages the player to) pause during combat or anything for that matter, it allows for a little extra time necessary to meneuver.

So anyway, this is a work in progress but my first version seems to get MOST of what you'll need on to the contoller but I would still consider having a keyboard handy for things like save game names and also if you start using group selections during combat. I haven't gotten into that yet, but when I do, I will probably create some key bindings that work with the BACK button to allow group selecting and what not.

I hope it works well and is useful!

Please let me know if you find this profile useful or if you have any ideas for updates or changes. As you can always modify these profiles to suit you, if you find that a certain config works better, let me know and share the knowledge so others can benefit and I'll try to make changes to this if it suites the profile.

Thanks!

Thanks! I don't think I did but you can always edit it and bind it's to something that wasn't used.

Works well with POE. I was wondering if quicksave was assigned or bound. Good job anyhow!
