The Abaia Construction Submarine considers all of the fleet it's children, and will protect them furiously against any who would disturb them!

Primary armour type: Metal
Moderately armoured, the Abaia relies on its depth to protect it against hostile intent.

Weapon systems:
* 2 long range torpedoes.

The Abaia serves a combined role as construction vehicle and fleet support, able to keep even heavily damaged ships in the fight, it is also capable of projecting powerful torpedoes great distances.

The Abaia's depth is controlled by an array of ACBs, which attempt to maintain a cruise depth of 150 - 200 metres below the surface of the ocean, but also watch for potential collisions, quickly adjusting height where necessary to avoid crashing into the ocean floor.

No Abaia has ever crashed across dozens of hours of playtime.
