Is there anything ACE specific in that regards?
(I certainly use them with ACE3.)
Please use a collection or even make a Arma3 launcher pre-set for managing your server mods. Both of these options work very well and won't breach any EULAs.
You've not really bothered to read any comment I've posted.
You're just trolling....
Most common SAPI is 9.5" x 12.5"
So 'proportions are totally off' is a vast exaggeration. They are slightly off for the typical SAPI.
Again, I suggest you take the time to read about what you're slagging off before you do so.
This was meant as a proof of concept for mod making not any attempt to be the most accurate JPC ever made. It's on the workshop because a few people were interested in it. Nothing more.
Feel free to make your own JPC to show us all how it should be done....
If you'd bothered to read any of the comments, you'd see that this mod wasn't really intended for release on the workshop. It just ended up there as enough people were interested in it.
This was just the first thing I did as an Arma3 mod to see if I could actually make mods.
Basically, the textures are in the standard compressed state that ARMA uses. What I would need to do to improve the mode size is how I map all the textures to the geometry. Which is to re-split the UV maps and re-texture the whole mod.
As I said, this vest was really just something I did to teach myself how to make mods and there's lots of mistakes along the way. (One of which results in why there are sooooo many textures...)
If I get time in future, I might look at doing a re-make but I can't honestly see myself doing this any time soon.
I wasn't going to put it on the workshop at all because it was just meant as a learning experience but was talked into it. And given there's a few subscribers, I guess this was the right thing to do!
Mind if I PM you?
