If I put 100 triangles my gamemaker crashes haha.

I know. That is fixed by changing the tree depth when the camera is under the water, although I did not develop this demo in order to be able to see underwater, but I will add that to the features list. Changing fog when the projection is under the water level also makes it look better.

Try using a high value when generating the terrain, I recommend 4 - 8. Try with a really high value if you are on a less powerfull pc. 12 or even 30 maybe.

I am going to release this as open source, however the the code and the variables is a mess (it wasn't thought to be open source from the beginning).
