You need to have a standalone version of this mod that doesn't remove disfigured, but add's "cool scar"
Because people get disfigured aswell in combat, or everyday life.

Спасибо за мод, безумно бесила логика Rimworld, где парень с пушкой, является первой и последней линии защиты, и который из за тебя стал инвалидом, а ты его ненавидишь за то что он "недостаточно хорош" что позволил нанести себе увечья. (Всегда думал об этом...но еще больше я думал, каким образом человек в силовой броне, получает минус к репутации, да то что его торс искалечен...Я поверю еще в лицо...но те части тела, которые постоянно закрыты...Странная логика игры)

I agree, makes a lot of sense that ideology-wise that Scars incurred from battle gain you additional respect/admiration... heck, could have both. Afterall if half his face is missing it still looks nasty, however you can still respect it I'd say.
Makes more sense than just purely ritualistic scarrification.

as someone who actually has facial scarring irl, I do thank you for this mod. Felt strange that people disliked scarring so much which doesn't really match up with the reality I experience

@Alapma: There would be but this is just a simple XML change. You can probably edit and exclude certain injuries, but that is more work than I'm invested in. But I do thank you for your interest!

is there a way to make it so some injuries actually give the -15? beacuse irl i would respect someone with a scar on his eye, but if he literally has his nose choped off i would probably fell nauseous while looking at him, same if he had his mandible choped of (i think that also gives the disfigured thing)

I've seen a divorce or two happen happen because "I really love my husband Bort and he's always so kind to me... but he has a little burn on one of his pinky fingers from a zzztt a few quadrums ago and I just CAN'T GET PAST THAT!" Never did understand why the disfigured penalty even exists, let alone why it's as big as -15. Great mod, one of my essentials. Props to ya for it, Vakaria. ^.^

You know, this would be pretty cool as an ideology thing. I haven't played "Pain is Virtue" or anything similar, but I imagine that this would go well with that as a precept.

Oh thank fuck for this mod. I always end up with disfigured colonists from fights, but you'd think in a warlike frontier setting, they WOULD respect scars, not be put off by them. I get why it'd be weird in civilian settings, but not here.

oooh, this is great

though i think, more appropriate and realistic, would have been to add a trait that pawns can like scars, giving them a +25 social impact buff [your existing +10 and another +15 to counter the normal -15 so the -15 doesn't have to be changed]
leaving a like and subscribing regardless
