It's a nice MOD I can't leave when playing Space Engineers 1. Can I make a fork, which is used to fit the original large grid block to the small grid (and keep the original settings. But I can't model, so I won't add more block models.)?

Still works in my worlds, but won't be updated or anything due to the release of SE2 from what it says at the bottom of the description.

XD it will take years before SE 2 is somewhat Complete & playable SE1 will live for at least 5 years

Hello! great mod, I like to use larger armor ramps for my builds a lot. I'm building a ship that has overhangs and I can't find an armor ramp that fits in this gap. I need an inverted split corner block, which isn't even in the vanilla armor block selection:

I'm sure the hardest part would be texturing since I don't think the model is that difficult to make. I'm willing to help out and do it myself since I can code in C# but I haven't made any mods for Space Engineers as of yet. Do you think this would be a good addition to your mod?

If not, then I'll improvise. I'm planning on using armor blocks from another set of mods (That are built using custom materials) so there's really no rush. Thanks for reading.

I wonder can't these armor mods be similar made to the concept of skin whereby the material and cost become interchangable or vice versa just the form. I have seen soo many armor mods now and i think to better generalize them, having one type of mod that just goes by form and others that just are about the material/hp/cost/weight and then wirth the skins all comes together.

Instead i see a bunch of armor mods that over time go into obscurity as they are not anymore maintained all of which are a combination of form&material/weight/cost all in one. Having a system that just has form and then the rest goes into a seperate group would be i think preferable.

I ask you to replace the 500x500 icons with 128x128, Now the volume of the icons is 96 MB, after conversion it weighs only 6 MB... on computers with HDD (SSD does not seem to be so noticeable), such a large volume of icons causes lags when opening the menu. please update this mod so the mod can use all the skins in game, this is a one of a kind mod and kinda bothering it doesn't work well with the skins the game now have

Is it possible to add segmented versions of the blocks? I find myself needing just the tip of a 4x1 slope pretty often.

@wingmaster They work but textures are off, not bad..... just off. Your game won't crash either.So to answer your question......... No lol. but as I said you can till use them as there not god awful. hope this helps and happy engineering. :steamhappy::steamthumbsup:

also need some more normal ramps in the 2,3,5x2x1 etc variants to meet up with the other angled 2,3,5x2x1 type blocks. those abstract sizes you cant replicate with others

I don't know why SE hasnt made it yet. If the problem was it being a large armor, then a 2x1x0.5 would do.

Any chance of getting this in a even longer block? I love this mod,,, but finding I need blocks in the say 10 to 12 block length to get the right angles for my current blueprint project. Plus would be nice if we had more blocks that transition from one angle to another.

you have very heavy "icons" (90 MB) they take up more space
than models and their textures. Similar icons in the game weigh 22 kb, you have 327kb (300pcs). Can you make them simpler? - The menu slows down when called....

@van.uffelen.lowfe There is presently a hit and miss issue of mods sometimes not registering through the mod organizer, I had to go through the sandbox.sbc manually to get everything registered correctly in my list. some were listed twice. Once corrected all is working appropriately, and Keen is internally aware of the issue. https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/25016-mods-duplicating-not-appearing

Is it just me or are the skins not quite working?

Most just show up as black or varying shades of grey for me, and I own all the DLCs

Not sure if the author of this mod is still active but I have a block shape I really need that I am surprised is not fairly common. Was curious if there is any possibility I could convince them to add it to this mod? I really need an armor tip that the tip slopes to the opposite corner instead of the corner they all currently slope to. can provide illustrations to point out what I mean. If anyone else knows of any mods that they believe may have what I'm talking about please feel free to send me a message, thanks.

A suggestion: Half-Height slopes, based on the 2x1x1 to 6x1x1 (useful for docking ramp where the top is using half block, to better keep the slope)

Recently found that when accelerating or just flying at 50m/s (or slower, idk at 50m/s it can be easily noticed) or faster some blocks (ramps for example) start to flicker around, the faster you go the more intense it is, here's a video showing that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSfBJnUBnHY

@mircea the young , I was seeing the same thing. It becomes greatly pronounced when filling very large areas like when using 6+ of the 6x1x1, just a large wall of smooth featureless surface. Just makes something that has the better sloping when doing a 100m long slop at a grad of only 20m.

While I love the vastness of this collection, there is one thing that gives me pause when it comes to using it, namely the skins. With no skin applied, the blocks look just like any other vanilla block, but with something like the clean armour skin, all detailing vanishes, particularly on the larger surfaces. To exemplify

The top block has no skin applied, while the lower one is clean armour. I would expect the lower one to look the same as the top one, just without the scratches. This makes it not blend in with other blocks quite as well.
