Is there a timer on the BTL Lab mission or why couldn't I finish it? I had the Decker girl with me, yet the Decking:5 option was greyed out. I spent maybe 10 turns turtling to refresh the mages heal to fix everybody up to max in between. Is it a bug or what happened? Great mod btw. Awesome!

what you did is mostly the kind of persistent world i want for shadowrun.
a great mission you could add is the "prison break" run from razor s edge, one of the best runs i found around here

I have noticed a few people mention the matrix hang after defeating all of the IC at the end of 'Prototype Replacement'.
I have had the same issue. I have replayed the scenario 4 times, each ending with the turn not changing after defeating the IC in the matrix. I have tried it before and after replacing the prototype, it always hangs.
As I stated before this is great work, thanks.

Crunch stuff: While my character imported, my stash didn't. So I find myself short on spells (I wanted to swap out), items, etc - that I needed after finishing Dead Man's Switch. Don't know how this could be corrected besides taking my toon into another UGC and making the switches I needed then coming back. That's a lot of work :(

Seconded VerumJulos, I'd love to see how he did his triggers and such so I can replicate the results in my own content. I can't even seem to find a .cpz file for this content.

This is more of a general question than jus for this UGC. But, I use haste quite a bit and when I use it on this content it won't go beyond what is set by the cyberdoc... I like the idea of limiting AP, bu I still want my spell to work!

The pay out for these runs should be higher.

Something else, I don't know if it is just me, but the Johnson doesn't seem to pay very much considering the difficulty of these runs, personally, for me it seems to balance out by selling the items that you get from killing some enemies (no idea if they are random drops or not), but I'm not entirely sure what I'd do if I actually needed to use those items. (Honestly, I'm sort of wondering how others feel about the nuyen balance in this UGC as well?)

First and foremost, you've done some really great work here, and I adore the regular updates.

Now, a few problems. I encountered a strange glitch, where I was looking through the stats for hireable runners and it would 'freeze' on one runner's stats and you couldn't look at others or their inventories. (Later figured out you can fix that glitch by adding one to your team and looking at thier stats there then it fixed it for ones not on your team yet as well.) That led to me hitting the Exit button on the hiring process which in turn led to me having to turn in the first run as a failure to the Johnson.

Really liking it man. Only problem was that it started to cause Shadowrun to stutter (i think it had something to do with the save file), so i simply imported the character elsewhere and then deleted the file. Might be something you might want to look into.

Great job on the new AP implementation! Now for more feedback :)
My character has som skill in magic so he can see ley lines. I've only seen them in one room on one of the runs though. Might want to add some more. I haven't checked for summoning spots but if there aren't any the same goes for them.
The second problem I have is with the AI. Sometimes the enemy won't follow you out of a room. Allowing you to step in, shoot a few rounds, step out and repeat. Also some enemies don't seem to respond to the guy standing next to them getting shot. It would be better if all enemies in a room functioned as a unit. They should buff, heal and support each other, and most importantly attack together.
Finally it would be great if you could mix it up with the tiles. So not all runs seem to take place in the same bunker complex :) Maybe throw in an office building or two.

It should automatically download and install once you subscribe... there are problems with it though. You should see the content under new game or content

noob question, how do I play these mods? The only instruction or hint of instruction is to "subscribe". From there I don't see how to download the mods or run them.

I don't have a problem with AP being linked with Quickness. It does make sense. But may break whatever balance existed.

Will be making the AP adjustments as an optional add on through a contact, that way those who want it can get it and those who dont aren't stuck with it. Also will be editing the 2 Matrix missions tomorrow morning or later tonight.

This is great work! The runs are a lot of fun. I'm loving the difficulty. I do have one complaint though. The extra AP that you assign to the character makes it too easy and what's worse is that they are permanently added to the character. So while it works somewhat in this mod because of the high level enemies it completely breaks the game balance in all other UGCs. Please remove it.

You need to create a new Dimension in the scene properties and set the turns per round value to 3 and the Starting Heat 0-50 depending on how paranoid you want the cluster you are jacking into to be.

During the Prototype swap run if you swap the prototype *then* go into the matrix and destroy the ICe the decker stays in the Matrix and the game goes out of combat mode which means you can't control the Persona anymore.

Perhaps you should try and load up the Matrix like the game does. I think it's a different map for the Decker. The Decker should be getting 3 rounds for every 1 Meatspace round.

@michael.c.hinton Am considering balancing Character AP and basing it on something other than quickness... other UGC can set their own character AP and address imported characters stats in the same fashion.

@nonamesleft I think i can fix the prototype mission... you're supposed to stay in combat but the aimless ganger person i put off in the middle of nowhere was running through the void to get killed... also the third random dump mission does not exist i have only 2 matrix maps and they're in mission... I presently have no explanation for why that would happen and why there would be mystery add ons???

Having fun so far but a few bugs:
in the replace the prototype mission if you try to open the door with a character that doesnt have any relevant skills trying again with another character brings up the skills of the first anyway- though its easily fixed by moving the first away.
in the same mission i couldnt get the interface button inside the matrix to work as combat ended after killing every opponent (i cant believe i just complained about combat ending properly).
after finishing the third mission i was immediately dumbed into the hiring screen with far more runners then i had at the time, upon starting this mystery mission i could see about 8 characters standing in a matrix map and didnt have control over anything.

Upon starting this, I went from 3 AP to 6 AP. Immediately exited game. This would shatter the balance of any other UGC.

In the Downtown Seattle map there are some icon to enter building but I can't enter in it. Is it normal ?

dont know if this is a problem but this ugc messed with my load game options couldnt see anything , no games not even a back button to return to the main menue. have to stop game threw task manager to continue, might wanna look into this, got everything workin again after i unsubed

This module has a lot of good potential. The random Johnson missions from the old Genesis Shadowrun game are great. However, there are a couple of minor issues. In the "Retrieve Data" mission, the dialogue tree for the hackable maglock can still be interacted with after a successful hacking. Because the engine really does not take into account what side of the wall you are on, it is possible to lock your crew in the room, requiring debug mode to warp out. The Maglock should disable interaction after it opens. Also, the Safe House BGM should be different. Hearing the title screen BGM gets old real quick, especially to those of us who have to hear it constantly while using the level editor for our own projects. :)

Also tested it is possible to exit that mission while the decker is still in the matrix... guess he'll just have to catch up!

Nice work, Enjoyed the missions upto the data grab one, were i wasnt able to leave after completing the mission. Not sure if i did something out of order that broke the teleporter, but the overall sequence went as this:
entered first room, opened top door with the decker, that made all hostile move toward my team, finished them all, main character clicked the exit icon before mission was a sucess and choose to continue, after matrix is cleared icon turned yellow, main character selects it while decker still in matrix and nothing happens, he gets out of the matrix, and no matter who clicks the exit nothing happens.

The use backpack dialogue was intended for when you click on your character.. will look into it.
