A seamless mirror of his Shovel Knight counterpart. I picked him up and was hitting combos immediately because each move made sense. Very nicely done.

While this char is great some issues are present. Mostly moveset related ones. His down special is one since its bassicaly a platform. ANd the side b is just a dash. The bombs work fine on forward tilt and forward air (albeit i wish bair also threw bombs) but overall comparing him to the playable version in Shovel Knight he feels lacking. Like the bombs he throws are just status effects and it would be better if tehy were all unique but in teh way they explode.

one of if not my main for workshop, such a cool character to play as! potion spiking is such a fun thing to do too cant wait to see more work of yours if you decide to make more!

Howdy! Fantastic work on this character! Also, felt you might want to know - he's missing a sprite. Little dude turns into a big white X whenever he techs against a wall. Super easy to see by whacking him into the wall on Aether mode Fire Capital. :)
Big fan of the mod! Would love to see this fixed, it's the only issue I have with the character. It's such a delight having Plague Knight in this game and you've made him so much fun to play with his unique and wacky play style.

Hey I'm the person behind @Plague0fShadows on twitter and I wanted to say this mod is amazing! I was thinking maybe his neutral special could get a buff as it goes away with one potion throw and doesnt do a whole lot.
Also I was wondering if you could add Boomtech plague as a skin and maybe a skin where its a reskin of his purple and blue color but instead of the purple cloak he has a space / galaxy background pattern cloak coupled with the blue mask and hands.

if i could suggest anything it would be:
make the first 2 waves of fire in down smash link into the next, leadign to a finishing blow with the last wave
make it so the vat explodes when it with a bomb like in his boss fight (we dont get to do that in plague of shadows ;-;)
make his taunt the twiddle fingers
maybe do something more with side b?
these are not complaints at all just things that i think would help make him even better!! :D

i just started trying him out in training and am already in lovr and super greatful that someone finally made one of the other knights from shovel knight that ISNT sandbert! though instantly something a noticed, the sprite for crouch and the one used for the last frame of down tilt look like they mightve gotten switched around. unless those are the intended sprites...odd choice. nonetheless i LOVE this character

I think that while you're standing on the vat you spawn, the abilities you choose with your neutral should be buffed at least a little, but it makes your vat platform disappear.

kind of strange you made a move set for plague knight that has very little projectiles and no bomb burst mechanic. Isn't that his whole gimmick?

i like what you were going for but the execution is questionable. main two issues i have are the bombs and vat. vat should definitely behave like it does in the source. having the bombs on fair and ftilt makes a bit of sense, actually, though it would be nice if the selection were to persist and you could throw 3 in quick succession like in the game of origin.

there's also an issue i have with what each powder does. in the Shovel Knight series, Plague Knight is mainly about stage control and forcing you to move around a lot. what i think would make the most sense is to take directly from the game to use preexisting context (perhaps a wall sort of powder like component or cluster, a zoning tool like cascade or tracer, sparkler powder to function like fox mccloud lasers, and black powder to fill the fourth slot.)

overall i feel this fighter strays too far away from the source in execution. also no wall jump is too anti-rivals.

Amazing job on this, character feels really fluid and while has a bit of a learning curve, the options and combos this character has when you learn them are reaaaaally god damn cool. Definitely one of my new workshop mains

I've got a few issues with this character -
-For starters, the different bomb types are basically identical, save for the catapult powder - they mostly just cause different status effects, which feels pretty lame in comparison to the bombs he could use in Spectre of Torment.
-Side B and Up B feel like really lame choices for moves imo - Staff of Surging feels like a boring uppercut type move (especially since Plague Knight's Bomb Burst isn't in the moveset for some reason), and Side B is just a dash move.
-It's pretty hard to use the bombs, too, as they're mapped to Forward Tilt and Forward Air - I'd think it would be easier to use the bombs if they were mapped to a special.
-The sound effect for the bomb explosions is just plain weird. Minor gripe tho.
-Vat also feel pretty boring, as it is purely a platform, while in Plague of Shadows it will explode after a while, meaning it could be used as good stage control.

Finally, another Shovel Knight Character mod! He feels very fluid like his origin counterpart, and the moveset works really well.
