The units are absolutely useless if you use this mod. You cant direct them and they stay bundled up stuck in one place.

PLS add a 10 or 15 soldier mod, 20 and 50 are both to buggy with formation and ingame features, 10 or 15 would be IDEAL (allready requested in a 04/2021 comment and before).

If possible, I want to say that a 15 squad mod version of this one would make very much more sense then a 20 or 50 soldier mod options (vanilla 10 or less: To less, 20=to much (buggy with many maps from scale and formation and when running (some ppl stop or cant heal/retreat); 50 = totally to much.

A 15men squad would be very very welcome and ideal.

Just incase anyone else gets this mod stuck on like I did:
If you turn on the 50 soldiers version it disables this one, and while I cant get that one to work at all, it does disable correctly.

Yes, the number is easy to change. If it is possible to change it in-game, I have to test.
But you can only use the one formation.
If there is a change in the formations, e.g. if the squad heals, moves or is in combat, there will always be some unpleasant behaviour.

But independently of squad formation a mod with 15 guys should be possible beside 20 and 30 right? Its just an missing optiomal amount that would be great to have if you could do that

I am bound to the fix programmed formations of the game.
They are all designed for 10 soldiers. Only the "Archer Tow Row Formation" can manage more than 10 soldiers.

To be able to change the formations, all squad classes must be rebuilt. So you have to rebuild the whole game :-(.

A change of the number of soldiers doesn't work either. Even if you could set that yourself.

Can you do a 15 soldier version? While 30 is way to buggy with normal maps, I only play your 20 guys version, which, however, also is leading to some problems (when healing them at a village and recruit new ones there the resting people stay while healing onces go anywhere so the squad is spreaded over huge distances = buggy).

I think 15 guys, so additional 5 would be a very optimal solution. It would be very great if you could upload such a version here on workshop as well. Thank you for your work allready!

You playing in the campaign?
On the campaign-map squads are fixed, with the size.
Only when the AI have produced new units from the building they will be full size.

Is it normal for my squad health bar to be completely black? I can't see what they're current situation is, but everything works perfectly. And it is epic btw, thanks for the mod.

A good mod, however it isnt merged into the game very well. Some formations dont work, when you start a healing camp 10 of the men just go 100 meters away to heal there instead, and gets attacked by something.

Sry for the late reply. didn’t get any screenshots and the same as the dude claimed that heroes remain unaffected. Both start units and later produced ones get black bars. no crush happens during the games. Hope the information helps. :-)

Yikes. well I had to unsubscribe anyway cause it kept crashing on the final viking mission when the peassent entered the barracks to become spearman and they just charged at the enemy or stood there and got the error pop-up

The squads are fixed at the start of the campaign level. I can't influence them, unless I rework the whole campaign levels individually :-|.

To follow up the question from the last guy about the black bars. I don't have any screenshots. It was in the viking campaign on multiple chapters(have not done any other campaigns unless you count the other viking one). It was the squads on already when the game starts AND any squad produced after. Heroes remained unaffected. It was for injured squads and healthy ones.

Okay. Can you give me more information? Screenshots? Is that in the campaign and where?
Are these squads already on the map when the game starts. Or did you "produce" them via barracks? It is possible that squads that are already in the campaign at the start of the game have settings that they are not complete or are injured.

Tried the mod for a while, it is true that more the soldiers more of the fun. However the HP bar above the units are all black thus make it difficult to recognise when to withdraw the squad when battle is heated. Don’t know if it is only me that have the problem
