Is it enough to kill ogrs (trolls) and ships? Does it effective against infatry? I hope it can have REALY big dammage, because many vikigs with giants gets me sad and I need somethibg like cannons fron Atack of Titans anime, to shoot ogrs down.

sometimes the cannon does not shoot, when it happens I "close" the canon job individually and "open" after 1 or 2 seconds, and then the cannon works

I'd like it if this had slightly less range than the ballista, or similar range, rather than super range, and more damage. I don't like its DPS right now, or rather its drawbacks compared to how much it actually helps me. I think setting its range to the same as the ballista while increasing damage by maybe 25% while keeping its current cost rate might be better.

I actually don't know the raw numbers, I just never found these to be as worth it as spamming ballistas. Perhaps if I saw the raw numbers of each tower base and max would help a little bit on judging it.

No issues with the mod for me. it works amazingly. if you ever feel up to it something that would be a great mod... if any mod creators see this, i think it would be cool if there was like a Dragon training barracks or something similar that we could get dragon troops to fight for us. just like the basic dragons though otherwise it would be way to OP

For some reason when building it on a wall, it glitches through and falls "through" the wall, on the ground.

What I don't understand about the mod tho is it says that it doesn't cost money to run it but when you build it the wages are 15 gold per year.

Ballista simply outperforms cannon in all areas except range

Maybe the cannon should do more dmg against ships because ballista has a higher dps than the cannon

The load times and fire times or too slow for the cannon compared to the damage is does. I'm also watched ships pass by a cannon without it firing once while it's attempt to track the ship. The other tower types will out perform it every time. You need to either increase the damage, or firing time. As is for the price point it's the weakest of the towers.

This mod is currently updated for Beta 8b. If you are running the original stable build it will continue to ask for a restart as there is a version mismatch. If you are having this problem, and you want to use the mod switch to use the "next-version-preview" . To do this right click your game in your steam library > select properties > select the "Betas" tab > Select "next-version-preview" in the drop down menu.

Hey slooth, in the next update of this mod can you change how the cannon ball hits the enemy? it looks underwhelming when it hits because its the same as a ballista projectile, it would be nice if it was a bit inaccurate but with an AOE damage

@sfingers02 I would recommend checking out the source code for this mod. You can find it in your workshop folder. There you will see the required harmony patches to have the Building added to GameStates.internalPrefabs, then a patch to add my building as an option to the BuildUI. You will also see in general the settings I used, which can be found by viewing the source code for K&C. I would recommend checking out the K&C Official Modding Guide found on their discord. The simple answer is you need a GameObject Prefab imported with AssetBundle, add a Building Component, set required variables like uniqueName, and add required patches mentioned above. Best of Luck.

Mod is now updated for beta, if you run into any problems let me know. Looking into retiring the current projectile attack system, and just add custom targeting code to allow for adjusting damage values according to enemy type, ie; ships
