Birb -- This is, or was, a version that was forked from Beautiful Universe 2.0. The author called this the "lite" version of Beautiful Infinite Stellaris (which requires Infinite Framework), when in fact it is a fork of Beautiful Universe 2.0 which was a standalone mod. In other words this is a standalone mod.

However something has happened with the author which we aren't sure about yet, it sounds like his account was jacked, and now users here are scrambling to find old download links to get this mod.

I was able to get an old version to work. I posted the instructions on how to do so in this thread yesterday but my comment was removed for some reason. In short: you'll need to download an old version and manually install it to get this mod working again.

I don't work directly off of the mods, I use IronyModManager to create one large merged mod. Basically it's a snapshot of every mod you have designated to be integrated into the merge. More or less, a static snapshot of a mod group. So I haven't been affected like others.

The mod author's account was apparently stolen and the mod was replaced with something else.

I loaded right into a save game, not knowing this mod has been broken, and things loaded fine, just without this mod's enhanced interface, of course. So yes, we should be able to continue old games, but they'll look... less impressive. :\

What's with all the new updates? I can't tell what any of the mods are anymore and they seem to all be the same size and nothing seems to work anymore.

Flags are missing. They are not being shown in my save game or in empire creation menu.

Uh, what's with all these new updates to your mods? All the names have changed and they are all 119 MB in file size and no longer even work properly.

DaGwimWeaper -- I discovered shortly after I posted the question that the "lite" mod version is an attempt at a continuation of Beautiful Universe 2.0, which I believe is no longer maintained. Since Immersive Beautiful Universe is a minimalist "lite" version it retains compatibility with those other mods that worked well with the original Beautiful Universe, for example, Aesthetic Cinematic Gameplay. So Immersive Beautiful Universe is compatible with ACG, but Immersive Beautiful Stellaris is not; according to ACG mod author.

@aemeric The difference between !! 01 Immersive Beautiful Stellaris (this mod) and !!01 Immersive Beautiful Universe is the fact that the latter is a "lite" version of this mod as it is in the description

I'm assuming "the original mod" means the mod he may have taken inspiration from.

For example under the "MODs Provided inspiration" section of the description of this mod. I could be wrong but that's what I took away from it.

in the latest update it says new textures for techs and ringworlds...does this fix the ringworld texture bug or do I need the ringworld light fix for that still?

Hey! I love the mod, one issue though. The loading screens you have included are too low resolution and look really out of place on my monitor. I was just wondering if there was a way for me to remove them. Thanks, everything else is really cool.

@INFINI7E Yes, I had the original mod subscribed and that was perhaps the issue. I'll continue to play around with it but so far I unsubbed from the original mod and now it's running fine. Thank you!
