Got it, thank you! I appreciate your hard work and dedication (as well as the whole VE team!) Keep up the excellent work!
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 18 Jul @ 10:29am
It's not an error. We will take some time to adapt EVERYTHING to the new biomes, animals, etc
Quoniam23 18 Jul @ 10:22am
Doesn't generate an error log, Hugs or otherwise, or I'd submit through the form.
Quoniam23 18 Jul @ 10:20am
FWIW, it doesn't work in Glowforests either, but will work in Scrublands or Lava Fields. Oddly enough, in the mixed biomes, it works in the pre-existing half (e.g., Arid Scrubland, Temperate Forest) but not in the Grassland/Glowforest half, even when the underlying terrain is "soil 100%" on both parts.
Quoniam23 18 Jul @ 10:06am
Not a bug per se, but I've found that tilling doesn't function in the Grasslands biome. Nor do any of the trees for this mod. I can till fields in previously existing biomes, but not in Grasslands. I'll check to see if there are issues in other Odyssey introduced biomes.

No idea
SGT. Jensen 18 Jul @ 3:25am
Blueberry is missing too. As another example.
SGT. Jensen 18 Jul @ 3:23am
Somehow I'm missing few plants in the list of plants, like Cherry Tree for example (Tree Sowing researched). What can it be?
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 17 Jul @ 10:48pm
?
=>PR<= XxDEM0NIKSxX 17 Jul @ 2:57pm
why is bro updating the VE mods to 1.6
VitaKaninen 15 Jul @ 2:18pm
Use What's That Mod, then select the lemons, open the info tab, and it will tell you what mod they are from.
fatburner 15 Jul @ 2:09pm
Is this the mod that adds lemon trees? There are always lemons scattered across the map and the colonists are always hauling them around. I guess i just figured out the solution. Do not accept lemons in any stockpile
fatburner 15 Jul @ 2:08pm
Hello, great mod. Any plans to overhaul the soil tilling? Or how do people use it? I guess im a noob
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 15 Jul @ 4:12am
No, it's just a term for it
Jixxor 15 Jul @ 4:02am
The mod description says
"A new ability to plow soil has also been introduced once you meet the designated research. Plowing soil boosts its fertility to that of Rich soil, however when the plant is harvested, tilled soil returns to its previous form and needs to be plowed again."

Is plowing different to tilling? I can't find either in the Tech tree, but Tilling is available from the start.
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 15 Jul @ 3:05am
No, we never talked about it being locked under research
Meelonius 15 Jul @ 3:02am
Solved, adding comment for othes:

Plow soil option (tilled soil) is not an research anymore, the mod description is outdated and misleading (both description and infographic).

The ability to plow soil is under Orders -> Tilled soil
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 14 Jul @ 6:53am
There is no research. Use the search bar
Meelonius 14 Jul @ 6:52am
Same issus as Rich, not able to find a way to plow a field...Which reserach should enable the option?
Stellar Harbour 14 Jul @ 2:25am
Is there even any reason to plant vanilla stuff when we have so many cool new crops with different bonuses?
VitaKaninen 12 Jul @ 6:44am
Beets don't die in winter, but you can't plant them in freezing weather since the soil is frozen.
Andrømeda 12 Jul @ 1:45am
Hey, just to let you know I can't plant Beet Plants (and cant right click on the field that I asked Beet Plants to be planted in). Other plants seem ok. I only have Vanilla Expanded Framework, Vanilla Plants Expanded, Vanilla Skills Expanded and Vanilla Traits Expanded in addition to all the normal paid DLCs. I'm sorry I don't know how to make a bug report as it doesn't pop up with any error.
Thanks for everything!
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 9 Jul @ 1:54am
The fuck indeed, the fuck indeed.

AKA what do you want me to do without a bug report?
Freeasabird🕊 9 Jul @ 1:52am
Can't even select Red Beefsteak tomatoes to sell to other factions. And My pawns don't use them in cooking at ALL i have over 2k of them. WTF man :/
Rich 5 Jul @ 12:22pm
it says that the plow soil option will be available after research. I cant see this research option anywhere. any help.
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 3 Jul @ 7:29am
No idea, but I don't see why that is relevant
VitaKaninen 3 Jul @ 7:19am
Apples and other fresh fruit are now showing up at the bottom of the resource list on the left of the screen, when they should be at the top in the raw food section. Also, fresh fruit is listed between genepacks and books when trading.

Ok, it was probably connected with DDS textures not updated in RimSort. I deleted old ones and created new - working just fine. Maybe it helps someone :)
lloki 29 Jun @ 2:23pm
Thanks for checking. Obviously some mod conflict on my end. Maybe someone would have the same problem and find the reason or maybe I'll find it eventually.
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 29 Jun @ 2:04pm
Can't replicate, it works fine: https://i.imgur.com/CjeqWNf.png
lloki 29 Jun @ 1:40pm
Huh, after an update, I can't grow grass/high grass anymore. I'm still on 1.5.
tanyfilina 28 Jun @ 12:53pm
Try Cherry Picker mod
Tsornin 22 Jun @ 8:54pm
Hello! I'd like to turn off the tilled soil. If I'm fairly mod-illiterate but would is there a relatively easy way for me to edit the files myself to achieve this?
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 20 Jun @ 10:28pm
Already in VPE - More Plants
CaptArcticWolf 20 Jun @ 7:07pm
adding carrots and Nuts (Chestnuts and Almonds) for 1.6? If not ok. If so, Thank you.
Battl3bee 24 May @ 3:35pm
I CAN FINALLY HAVE AN EARLY GAME PLANT FOOD SOURCE FOR MY BOREAL FOREST CULT
DaniAngione 13 May @ 3:37am
Is there a way to make plowing soil faster? Maybe a tool or something? I feel like it takes too long to make it worth it, my farmers take days to till all the fields :Khappy:
XTR ReCon™ 8 May @ 9:27pm
Out of curiosity, does the plowing soil bill use any specific skill to influence how quickly a pawn will complete it?
[User Deleted] 6 May @ 6:06pm
Found a bug with using cave moss as nutrition source for biosculpters. You can designate it to be used, but it can't be actually be loaded by pawns or even manually at all.
Mac 26 Apr @ 11:32am
Mr. Nothingburger here, your Pear Trees are 2x lower in resolution than pretty much all the other fruit trees.
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 26 Apr @ 6:23am
Sorry, we don't do "standalones". I'm sure someone else has made a mod dedicated purely to that!
space_powder 26 Apr @ 6:19am
Any chance for the soil plowing mechanic to be its own separate mod? I enjoy how it functions compared to other soil mods, but I could go without stuff like all the fruit trees
Oceania 9 Apr @ 6:09pm
You know I've always thought it would be a cool idea to have an indoor rainmaker for my hydroponic peas, could even work great with dubs bad hygiene
tchnko 8 Apr @ 3:16am
I can't find any. I'll ask a friend to make one once he has the time. If you find one in the meantime please post it in the thread
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 6 Apr @ 10:58pm
I think there are a couple mods that patch it, yeah. Search in the workshop
tchnko 6 Apr @ 6:24pm
Is there a mod or a patch that removes the biome lock for fruit trees? I can't get orange trees to make earl gray tea with the brewing expansion
TheNarberal 6 Apr @ 9:42am
Is there a chance you could add something in for Grasslands please and thank you?
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 2 Apr @ 9:37am
Pineapples are in VPE: More Plants. Grapes are in VFE: Medieval 2
圣空 2 Apr @ 9:33am
Can you make pineapples and grapes, and more fruits. Thank you
Eggnog98 31 Mar @ 3:03pm
What labor skill is used for tilling? I don't want some pawns to till, but I can't figure out what labor it uses.
