it upscales the default textures, they look the same but are in a higher resolution if you zoom in, it's only 2K to not cause performance issues

Ah okay, I usually have avoided moving the load order since it seems like everything is usually automatically adjusted, haven't had any conflicts before, and don't want to mess something up (I'm assuming the excellent modders of this game manually tweak the priority).

Out of curiosity, what does your mod change about the vanilla state troops?

you should move that mod above manually in the load order so it has higher priority, that mod apparently does a lot more than it used to and we both replace the same textures now

That actually isn't how it's supposed to look is the thing, some of the hair colours aren't working and the change to the armour tint isn't appearing either. That is why I likened it to Z-Fighting, if you zoom in, it looks like the hair colour is shifting between both. (Thank you for going through the effort to check)

Sadly the update doesn't seem to have fixed the issue, I've narrowed it down and whenever I activate this mod, the Shallya mod, or the combiner, it breaks the visuals for the Hair Fix mod.

Warhammer 1 Empire Facial Hair Fix can't conflict since I don't touch those heads.

It's possible some of Ado's Empire reskins would conflict, I renamed the files so they shouldn't now.

Warhammer 1 Empire Facial Hair Fix, when I used it alongside this mod it looked like it was z-fighting the old and new textures/meshes.

I just realised that this and the Shallya Priestess mod are preventing reskins for the base vanilla troops, not sure if that is intentional or not.

The mod has worked fantastically well in my playthrough, and it doesn't feel over-tuned since it primarily buffs The Empires low tier infantry. The cosmetic overhaul that incidentally comes with the upgrade looks great too, makes me want to find a good alternative reskin for the vanilla state troops, I've had no luck finding one for the latest update.

I noticed that ChaosRobie's Empire Engineer (which lets you give upgrade to gunpowder units) isn't compatible with this mods handgunner, which might be worth looking into, assuming that isn't overpowered.

Hey man, I don't see the option to upgrade troops to the armored variants like in the screenshot. I have just the main Upgrade Mods, MCT, and this one when I tested it out and I still couldn't find the option. Any help would be appreciated!

hi , i used this mod before and was great !! now i add :Reporting For Duty — Garrison Upgrade and now i cant upgrade any units, its say :unit cap will be excedeed, even if i have no upgrade yet. I try to disable Garrison but my game dont load so i cant say 100% if there is a conflict.
is it possible ?

Changed to give 30 armour to justify the 300 gold cost and to have more of an effect on the battlefield, ranged units will have the same armour (60) since they're using the same actual body models.

- I deleted the Battle Standard Bearer submod from the workshop since I found a way to make it compatible without a separate submod.

A maybe bug report for you, upgrading a unit to the armored vision will reset XP progress to next rank. Not sure if intentional or accidental or just something you have no control over.

For example, Helmut Feurbach has a skillpoint that applies weapon strength, melee attack, and a bonus vs infantry to swordsman in his army.Regular swordsman get all of that but the armoured ones do not. This is the case with every elector count LL added by Mixu that applies bonuses to state troops.

I have the Mixu legendary lords mod running but its not applying the bonuses to the armoured versions of the state troops. Is that something that would be easy to add?

Hey Joe, i'm getting some wierdness when upgrading units in the SFO version, and I think it's also present in the normal version. Basically threes things happen, seemingly at random:

1) The unit upgrades normally.

2) The non-armoured remains, and the armoured variant is added.

3) The upgrade button doesn't do anything.

I think it might be a script issue, and since i'm a dirty copy-paste monkey, I have no idea how to fix it.

CA changed their stats this patch and I didn't actually update those, good catch.
