Alright so here's the deal. I want this in my personal mod list so I'm updating it. I will probably add new things to it as I see fit. I will be bringing back my revamped shroom high system. I will rebalance stuff I don't like and I will be starting with values from the original mod, not the "rimcuisine drugs nerfed" mod.

If you do decide to make your own mod, I hope you stick with a similar style of naming. I appreciate Rimworld having names like Smokeleaf and Yayo rather than their standard real-world names. The fact this mod used a similar approach is a big part of the reason I appreciate it so much.

I'm torn between whether I want to update this or not. On one hand, we need more drug variety in rimworld. On the other hand, I don't agree with all 100% of the balance decisions in the official rimcuisine drugs (I haven't even been faithfully mirroring the balance values in this mod vs the official rimcuisine drugs but no one has seemed to notice), plus there's a few new minor new things it needs to have. I've already completely overhauled the way psychedelics work and made minor changes to skag/zope.

I want to make a whole new mod and just put a link saying "yo, I made my own drug mod and balanced it the way I like it but it's otherwise the same as this one" but I have to remake all the assets for it first to make it my own.

I'll look into what needs to be done to make it work on 1.4 and if it's not too much work, I can update it and maybe aim for completely replacing this in 1.5 instead of waiting until I have time to make a new drug mod for 1.4.

Is there any chance we will get a 1.4 update? This was easily my favorite mod of it's type, and I'm not really into the massive bloat of the main mod series.

An excellent compatibility fix! Purely because you mentioned removing bloat, I notice the Textures folder still has a bunch of empty sub-folders and the images for a few cut drugs (food pills, gay pills, magic corn dogs) as well. Don't seem to be causing any problems, but if you wanted to shave out a few KB worth of defunct content, it's there.

@whatchagonnado'boutthatson? Sorry about that. I just fixed it like 30 seconds ago. Strange how that bug both avoided detection by me no one complained about it for so long. Turns out, you only don't encounter that bug if you had the original rimcuisine installed then you uninstalled in on the same save hence why probably no one noticed.

in the RC2SS_Drug_Plants.xml
I believe the prerequisite is wrong, but I dunno what is the correct option.

Thanks for this! I always liked the RC drugs. There are other drug mods that might have more features, but it was always so jarring to go from goofy drug names like "smokeleaf," "yayo," and "wake-up," straight to "BLACK TAR HEROIN."

Thanks for bringing back my zope and skag.

I see that the pills and corndogs are now a separate mod, so thanks to the mod author for splitting it up ;)

All was great until the last paragraph - you explained full and well why this standalone is needed for those who run VE, but then you added two unnecessary drugs of your own - why not make them their own optional mod?
Unless this is some kind of joke, haven't tested the mod yet...
