why

I feel like dungeon guardian is the less ancient one because I think the dungeon keepers were tired and tired of having to activate the old mans curse in order to kill some weaklings. The old man was also sick of it. So the dungeon keepers make the Dungeon Guardian in order to stop the unworthy while also not having to work alot. That explains why skeletron is the more ancient one imo.

Well it would be more likely that a difference in apperance is that skeletron is more magically powerful and can hold himself together easier than the dungeon guardians.Besides their,well,living and flight capabilities the dungeon guardians have no real power without skeletron,and likely all perish without him.
Anyways when we turn this into skeletron we give him le jaw back and we take guardian jaws away

You should make a mod that swaps this and ancient skeletron. (skeletron evil, dungeon guard ancient) as the guards would probably be more old.
