The mod looks well made but unfortunately I am not able to download it since my ukrainian wheat farmer great grandfather and died when stalin killed 3 gazillion of his own people by personally eating all their food with his comically oversized spoon. i worry for mankind when i wonder how are they offended with symbols.

people should research how many were killed by the hammer and sickle for its political goals comparing to the swastika.

Good thing Hitler wasn't a Hayashi or all the Hayashis and Lins in the world are condemned.

Hello @i_starving, this was my first RimWorld mod

Turns out Icon mods are very simple, just need to create some XML files.

I used the tutorial at https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Modding_Tutorials

You can go to your Rimworld steam directory (<game installation folder>\steamapps\workshop\content\294100) and take a look at any of the mods you have installed for reference (or find this mod in that folder).

I really wanna make an icon mod like this one, i dont have any prior expirience

yes, yes we can! edit anything for factions (anything but color palette)! it wasn't obvious for my first run with Ideology. great!

I did not restrict them to any ideology and just added them to the pool of available symbols.

You can edit the other factions' symbols during the landing (choose custom ideology).
Or I think dev mode can edit them later.

well, there is a problem. I just launched some map and there were two cannibal gangs with hammer and sickle icons. i'm sure that base game should has an option like "forbid this symbol for AI players"
