Shouldn't it be 1.33?
Also if you could fix the issue where display panels don't register these turrets when displaying core slots or the number of turrets in use that would also be amazing. Also regarding devices: as it stands the only way to open these modules is to do it manually or with a custom controller. Devices that allow you to open turret modules specifically (like the large panel or manufacture controllers) just won't register these turrets and thus won't interact with them.
I've used this mod for a long time and while it's great, these are just some issues I've come across during play. The health, damage, and range of these turrets are all great value for their cost. Overall a great mod, with a few minor issues. :)

For example the modded cannon shoots with very small ballistic curve so it is way more precise on cogs which are running towards your drillship.
The modded Machine gun turret has bigger HP and bigger ammo magazine.
So far it seems that only the modded HMG turret has no benefits from the vanilla one.
So we will improve the stats of the ammo but it won't be anything radical, because otherwise the gameplay would feel like cheating, if the turrets would be too strong.
Altho feel free to edit the stats yourself - its easy if you follow the modding guide step by step.
About the stats of the different ammunitions - I agree we should do something about that.

maybe you should only be able to build those turrets at the phase of the game where you are able to craft the ammo
One slight issue: the turrets don't seem to be affected by flipping levers or turning gauges on the Controller System panels. So I have to run through the ship to manually turn them on or off.
It take's HMG turret ammo which looks like gatling turret ammo but with yellow rings instead of barely red rings
