Does what it says on the tin, and thank you for this mod, have used it for 100's of hours, not tried any other trading mods, like YAT, yet :) , so I cannot compare

It looks like this doesn't work with the 4.3 (HOL) update. When I contact a trade manager, there is no option to "Ask for: Trade offer updates" It's still the same old menu and when I click on "I want to hire you" I get a response of "no" lol

the game is unplayable without this mod. well done and thanks a lot... works flawlessly in 2021 B4.3

This is the goal of this mod, yes. But you don't need YAT and YAT don't need TAF. But they can be used together for better trades yep.

If i have Yet Another Trader v2.03c (XR 4.00) installed do i need this mod to always keep the trades up to date

You can test it yourself, thare's no danger for your saves or anything. Just test several types of vendors on stations.

@Bioscomos : Devs must have added dialogue options to the ship sellers, and the slot the mod was using is now occupied. This means you can't ask to those ship sellers to monitor prices anymore.

ok, i did a mistake: you need to talk to traders and so on on the station to get the menu and not just call the station itself.

Maybe i did something wrong, but i dont have any options to buy a trade agent, if i talk to a station. Can anyone confirm, that it works with 4.3?

NP, just checked it on the normal version of rebirth and works as intended too,

I've just tested on a new game and it's working fine, the problem may be on your side... And sorry I don't accept friend invites and don't mod X Rebirth anymore :/

But as I said the mod should work fine, even on X Rebirth VR (see the comment below yours, thank you Tiradox by the way)

egnore all my other comments but about the mod no it does not work right maybe its because its 4.10 x rebirth have you updated this mod since?

I like to be fully stocked when I venture out to the unknown get my meaning.

no eye and TAF is the only thing I got that has to do with trade agents on stations everything ells has to do with ships and stations guns and granades

I've tried this mod for both free play and compaine niether work the message is there but always grey then I got to thinking PMC must of hacked my game and disabled it

but true its there but grey always ive done the contineous chats to make them feel good even gave them red water and chatted some more nothing happend then I gave them haze to drug them a little then chatted some more then nothing happend still, still grey. Then I thought Id try jewlry kind of akward giving jewlry dimonds and ear rings and its still grey. So thats what I came with PMC knew what you came up with and made it out lawed. Ironicly sorry for spelling anyway PMC red me after I spoke to all theyre people on there docks on one of there metalrefineries. So im kind of upset that the line is grey.

Then you already have an agent in the station (watch on the map if there's an "eye" icon next to the station).

I got the mod but the message is always greyed out for me and I have X Rebirth 4.10 so Im guesing this mod needs to be updated again though I could use the cheat menu but it screws up the compaine if you use it before the forge is built or if you have not gotten the mission to build it,

just a little info, installed on x rebirth VR and it works ok for me. Figured I'd post it here if anyone else was wondering if it works or not.

@NonameFTW I think this lets you simply hire an NPC that lives in the station to permanently feed you information about all the available trades in the station.

To contrast, scanning the station components only gives you all the trade information after you've scanned the station 100%.

This mod lets you scan none of the station but still hire an NPC that lives in the station

Can someone explain me what this mod does from its technical side ? Because I already have a mod that increases the range for exploring stations (similar like butter ranges) and at the same time increases the time for the trade info to 1 year. So does this do the same but infinite ?

If you've downloaded the mod, which you can with a chrome or firefox extension such as greasemonkey. You need to unpack the .dat file with XRWSunpack tool. If you've bought the game from GOG this is very useful. This author has been asked time and time again to submit the mod to nexus since it seems to be popular, but alas..

@lex well, the story go a little bit further after manage to figure out how to downloaded subscribe. basically after i manage to figure out how to download the mod. i couldnt manage to install it, because it s using a different .dat file. it doesnt work as copy and paste in the extension file of the game. anyone can help??

Thanks for the comment Ketraar, the mod should now work. I just had to make concessions, Ship sellers cannot be hired anymore in 4.0 (due to lack of dialog boxes)

As of 4.0 TAF does not work. Egosft added a new conversation. TAF needs to change the conversaion to another slot. If the author would be so nice to update it would be great, since its a vital mod for all the trade tychoons outthere. :-)
