I used this version and the other version of this mod and i also used your Andromeda mod and the new version of the mod I couldn't even tell the difference until I turned it off and turn back on, you did a great job in this one I was wondering if you could do a whirlpool rework mod.

@Scundo Gundo Unfortunately, I can't implement that sort of detail with what SE allows me to do. I can tell the program where the dust goes in the galaxy and can change it's shape trough certain paremeters, but it's all procedural. I have tried to match the location of the dust with what GAIA has mapped, but it's impossible to make it look exactly like that.

Hello, do you think it could be possible to incorporate the local interstellar dust mapped by the Gaia, Pan-STARRS, and 2MASS surveys?

Another update to fix some things from previous version (more details in the change notes). Also, for the next version I will probably implement the galactic plane twist, but I need to figure out a way to make it without breaking procedural generation, so until then, enjoy this version

Older versions of the addon can be found on the Nexus mods page. As my vision for this addon changes, I update as I see fit, so I won't be downgrading or making separate versions.

Wow, thanks, great. I think the dust distribution in the Milky Way looks much more realistic now. Probably because of the larger amount of data.

And I tought everything was fine this time 😮‍💨 I'll work on a fix for this soon.

Also can the problem of the textures being too big now be solved, the Milky Way D25 isophote is about 87400ly±3600ly in diameter, and the textures are a bit too big now even the D25 diameter is not the edge of the galaxy (80-90%)

The orion spur is a smaller arm, 20000ly in length, about half of the radius of Milky Way. So It should be shorter better

Unfortunately, it doesn't look as good as the previous version, but it has a strong visual impact. We hope to restore the previous version

Updated to SE 0.990.48.2055 coupled with a redone of the texture, fixing on previous issues (thanks to LBV 2012-26 for making an addon fix in the meantime)

For some reason the mod just randomly stopped working

i subscrribed it then deleted the cache i resubscribed many times but the milky way stays the same both from the inside and from the outside

You will still see the default Milky Way from outside the galaxy instead of this

I don't, I just installed this one and Andromeda Overhaul, and after it crashed, I removed Andromeda Overhaul, cleared the cache folder and the game keeps crashing.

Doesn't this happen to you?

Check if you have other addons that might be causing this issue.

lbv 2012-26 fixed the milky way data with this addon

also when i delete cache folder it just comes back when i play game

Are you in the right folder direction? If so, then once you launch the game it will create itself
