Do I have to restart the campaign in order to make it work or can I use it on an already ongoing campaign?

I had it on Normal and all I had was this and the required mods. This was on top of the list.

Make sure to play on NOrmal. Make sure to Load this above the main mod.

Less aggressive AI lol. First turn 5 people declared war on me. After 3 turns they all had full stacks and every one of them came at me at the same time. First time I've ever lost a campaign in this game. I feel like that shouldn't count as a lost campaign though..... After 5 seconds of deliberation I have concluded that I have not lost a campaign yet.

On the first turn 3 nations declared war on me, and next turno other 3 nations did so. What can I do?

The Ai focus is on building and construction with less aggressive ai.
