Instead of capping time i wonder if just reducing time a bit and reducing red respawn time a bit would work, unless it was already tried.

Hi! I'm planning a small bugfix update soon, and once that's done I'm hoping I can embed a nav mesh into the workshop download (I think Valve made this possible recently? If so I'll definitely do it).

mind making a nav mesh for the map? tried generating one so I could play with bots but it won't work for me

Hi, I do use nav_generate myself and I'm unsure if that's included when you download. Some people say it works, some don't, I'm not too sure why. You may want to run nav_generate yourself.

hi i have a question, i saw you mention the map is compatible with bots. I created an offline server to test them but none of them move. Do i have to type nav_generate in console to make 'em work or do i need to do something else?

I though they'd work since you said the nav was already included

It should support bots, yes! I generate a simple nav mesh with the in-game console command on all my maps, and I think that is included when you subscribe here.

also idk if this is dumb or not but does it support bots? i wan't a new map to play against bots on.

Dustbowl's my favourite map as an engie/heavy main, and there's definetly some great new additions here, my favourite probably being the alternate route on the last map as i always found that last round being especially frustrating when attacking since it took ages for everyone to get out of spawn and cap and the only other alternate route was 1. too long and 2. still put you out right next to the spawncampers, basically making it useless. And while defending on that area can be fun sometimes to just farm easy kills, i dont play this game to just easily win. Shame they'd never actually put these changes into casual. You have my respect

im a big fan of Dustbowl re(work/vamped/made) and i have to say this one is very well made
BUUUT if you´re ever making a V2, try to look into other´s dustbowls, maybe you would do a SUPER dustbowl remake

Oh hey, that's cool! I was aware it's something other people had attempted, but I never actually looked at other dustbowl reworks to see what other people had done, and just made Crustbowl as a fun side project anyway.

I uploaded a dustbowl improved map to the workshop as well a little while back. Many of the changes you made, I also did as well. Except for the 3rd stage. I decided to fill in the big trench because I didn't like it. Anyway, good map!
