does anyone saw the refinery keep working endlessly? i saw my chemfuel tank 99% and never fill 100% when connected to odyssey fuel tank.

How do the Chemfuel tanks interact with the Odyssey fuel system? I see that the Odyssey tanks are added but I'm not yet at the point of launching my ship and would like to know if they're incompatible with the thrusters or have other consequences. 750 in Odyssey vs 4500 in VCFE is a no brainer.

CompDeepExtractor component is trying to Tick (update) even when the item is minified (packed), but some required objects (like pipe connections or parent object) are null

@Akkarin
i think this mod have a infinite extractor if my memory not mistaken

hmm i like this mod but i find it annoying that deepchem pockets are limited in size. any way to make them infinite but lower production speed or something?
Mave 19 Jul @ 8:54am
Might be a weird question, but is there a way or an existing mod to add surface sources similar to heat vents? Would be really cool to have 1-2 spawn on a map that you could drain before doing more advanced tech research. Or anyone who could develop it
PariahOftheMultiverse 18 Jul @ 10:02am
What about adding a separate fuel for the odyssey engines?
StockSounds 17 Jul @ 8:49pm
Good thing they got Oskar on the Odyssey textures so he can make the chemfuel tanks look exactly like they do in this mod.
Tase 17 Jul @ 10:01am
The chemfuel containers from this mod give way more chemfuel storage per tile (250 per tile) than the vanilla chemfuel tanks from Odyssey (50-60 per tile), will this stay as-is?
plusing123 (dragonheart) 15 Jul @ 8:27pm
if there was compatibility with this and rimefeller (were i store chemfuel in to the rimefeller tanks i would love it as i hate having to use two tanks so i end up only running rimefeller
Zaire82 15 Jul @ 4:45pm
@Pre
Odyssey tanks do connect to the chemfuel network, they just don't function as storage the same way VCE ones do. They're more like generators that require fuel than tanks that provide it.

With that being the case, I'd like to suggest this mod makes some adjustments around that fact.
Either:
A. Rename either of the tanks to something else. Maybe change the VCE tanks from "Chemfuel Tank" to "Chemfuel Storage Tank", or change the Odyssey ones to "Gravship Chemfuel Tank" so it's clearly different.
B. Change the behaviour of the Odyssey tanks to function similarly to the VCE ones.
Kaladion 14 Jul @ 4:53pm
Ah, looks like the bug about the grave ship has already been reported, The tanks on the ship dont drain, neither integrate together, nor does the pipes work between taps and chem power stations on the ship.
FluffyGuy 14 Jul @ 1:52pm
Yeah still broken
Pre 14 Jul @ 1:16pm
@Behemoth64 No it doesn't. The Odyssey tanks don't connect to VCE networks at all, and the VCE tanks don't count their fuel for your ship.
Casual 14 Jul @ 12:19pm
Chemfuel drains don't seem to drain into odyssey chemfuel tanks, do VCE tanks count towards gravship fuel, or will I just need to have it hand-filled
Behemoth64 14 Jul @ 12:03pm
@SgtDornan7 It already has integration.
SgtDornan7 14 Jul @ 11:49am
Will this get Odyssey integration?
gazza_m_bolton 14 Jul @ 8:08am
I understand if the answer is no with this but is there any chance you can look at the appliance expanded mod and consider any of the new workstations they have with chemfuel as a built in part of this mod? maybe even consider them using deepchem instead at a higher cost due to it's unrefined quality
JäteWaaaaagh 13 Jul @ 12:28pm
Awesome mod
vitortio5 12 Jul @ 1:01pm
good to have an vanilla version of dubs refinning, to many oil varietys for some one who just want fuel :worker:
Ribera 12 Jul @ 11:09am
And do not turn off deepchem refinery, when is built on gravship it cause heavy UI bug, when you liftoff - reported via form
Ribera 12 Jul @ 7:44am
Also deepchem refinery working constantly even if all chemfuel tanks are full, burning deepchem really fast.
FluffyGuy 11 Jul @ 8:55pm
seems to not be working, nothing is seen in the network
Kryth 11 Jul @ 10:46am
Can confirm, the chemfuel tanks from odyssey are not counted
Ribera 11 Jul @ 9:42am
Works like one-way tanks atm
Ribera 11 Jul @ 9:41am
Oh no sorry, vanilla tanks are not counted in network at all
Ribera 11 Jul @ 9:40am
Looks like small chemfuels tanks which were prebuilt on gravship, needs few save reload because pipe network shown 0, after built chemfuel drain or chemfuel regular tank it works
RussianGolden 9 Jul @ 12:43pm
This is gonna be such a must-have mod when the Odyssey comes out! >:3
hog_jockey 8 Jul @ 11:05am
Who the hell *removes* mods from an existing playthrough and expects things to just work? In any game?
19kaiza 26 Jun @ 9:39am

Custom Chemfuel Expanded has some pretty neat balance fixes https://steamproxy-script.pipiskins.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3219540305
Raiseo 3 May @ 5:30pm
A simple and elegant mod, great job!
slesovoy 2 May @ 9:52am
Fortunately, the reverse installation of the mod fixes the save
slesovoy 2 May @ 9:48am
Warning. This mod cannot be safely removed from the save, as underground fuel deposits will remain, and the deep drilling interface will not work properly because of them. Also, the mod has no settings, so now half of all deposits on my map are fuel, and there's no way to fix it.
amis2 30 Apr @ 10:31am
sick mod dude

strange that some people hold so much hate in their hearts that they feel it is necessary to insult and threaten such talented people, over nothing! thanks for the mod

I use Rimefeller but I must say both of you work great and I appreciate it.
Bot3 22 Feb @ 4:36pm
Building a Deepchem Pumpjack seems to have added ~$50,000 wealth to my colony... I checked the item and it says it only worth like ~$700 but its definitely this building adding to wealth. Tried deconstructing it and building it again, same deal. Refinery doesn't seem to do anything

Thank you for the mods, ignore the negativity. You guys are doing a great job.
chernoboogaloo 31 Jan @ 2:07pm
I have only used Rimefeller and have not tried this yet, but after reading the disclaimer at the beginning of the description, I want to say that it seems to fit Rimworld's aesthetic far better than Rimefeller, and does not seem to require its own wiki to actually use. There's another bonus of not having to mentally say "rim a feller" every time you play the game
