Maybe something that adds heroes? Easiest way to check is disable others and enable 1 at a time to confirm

Aye they should! All Ogres are buffed in Aranessa's faction if they're recruitable (look for "The following units will receive bonuses from this skill" underneath the skill descriptions)
Good catch! Behind the scenes it checks the delta between the last version and this one, and determined that nothing actually changed in the files, which is true!
The main reason for hitting the "update this mod" button on my end, is that it makes the Yellow Warning Icon change to the Green Checkmark Icon in the Mod Manager. Basically it's just sending a message to CA servers that I checked that the mod was working with the Major patch number (6.1 in this case)
Addressing comments when I get the chance!
First, could you give Aranessa access to the Powder-Guts and Eshin Maneater RoR's? I could've sworn she could get the former previously, but I might be misremembering.
Second, could you exchange "Cutlass" in her yellow line with "Boarding Axe" to give her a bonus against large instead of a miniscule one against infantry? That always bothered me, seeing how she's already tooled towards fighting large units. Greasus had the same thing with his scepter, but that's been changed with the latest update.
Apologies for the delay y'all; was quite swamped with other priorities! The CTD fix was pretty simple; CA had just updated a table that the mod uses so that same table had to be updated in tandem. Here's hoping CA keeps fixing the bugs they're introducing with 5.2 onwards

Just tested it out with a new Aranessa campaign (the new lord selection video for her is pretty nice) and got growth to maximum (tier 1 to 5), but didn't experience the same issues described - might be a conflict with another mod. Best way to test that is to isolate (only 1 mod and others disabled, etc.)
May need to check this out and see if this is the cause.
It actually wasn't Aranessa's ship reaching lvl 3 growth but Sartossa's upgrade to lvl 3 (and likely the various buildings that make Ogre recruitment possible).

I to really want those darn dwarf pirates included for her as well. I KNEW CA wasn't going to add them...
I am indeed thinking about the dwarf pirates for Sartosa now that they've been added! Will play around a bit first
Playing a bit after CA's (much needed) course correction post "Shadows of Change" kerfluffle; here's hoping they stay on the right track
