You can combine this mod with Less Mechs mod to get the even raid sample % chance.

Excellent mod, this changed my raid sample on an Ice Sheet from 100% Mechanoid to an even split once again, confirmed via dev mode https://i.imgur.com/Z9YCGEu.jpeg

Are you outright illiterate? Default is -100 to +200. -65 is 30 less than the ambient temperature of a cold map tile and 70C is like 50 less than max heat.

Can you edit the options to -120c? I recall having to do this manually faction per faction but if I could just change the -65c to -120c that'd be great!

I have seen several generated raiders/traders with clothing that kept them warm up to -100C, it can definitely be done. In the case of traders, I believe if their people start suffering from some sort of temp-related injury they will turn and leave the map because they want to escape 'unsafe temperatures,' but if you make a colonists hustle over to them you still have enough time to trade. For raiders, I think they just start their attack immediately instead of preparing for awhile.

I have a question. Wouldn't the friendly faction just die? And hostile faction too I suppose, since there aren't enough clothing options for those extreme temperatures. Cool mod tho.

Dude... I was literally looking for this kind of mod a month ago when I was doing a colony on a Propane Lake map from Alpha Biomes. Gave up on the colony because all I ever saw was mechanoids...

The game is already on 1.4, it doesn't require the DLC to update to the latest version unless you're purposely not doing it.

This mod is absolutely essential, as I always settle in cold biomes for a bit of the snow aesthetic.
