Found it !!! patch incoming, there is some automated script that comes from the devs unity tools, that is periodically overwriting shells rigid body properties, I was able to fix them

Yes it's the ammunition there's something messed up with the rigid body. Collider and physics I'm trying to resolve

I have also the same issue with the AA and 88gun, without this mod its working fine but I really want to use the UBE mod.

Подтверждаю информацию grei209ks VIP3R повреждения рубки. Добавлю что любой выстрел даже вражеский - снаряд попадает на мостик рубки. U-лодка шла с заполненным балластом и была обнаружена эсминцем. Командую на погружение. Прилетает единственный снаряд и попадает изнутри мостика.

Dear "link", thank you for the great mod. I have been using it for a long time. However, unfortunately, your mod (apparently) is broken. All shots from the deck gun, as well as from the anti-aircraft gun, are aimed at my own submarine. As a result, the submarine is damaged, and the crew is killed.
I tried your mod both as the only one in the game and with other mods, but the result is the same: IT DOESN'T WORK.
It used to work. It happened in the middle of my career (1942). I discovered it yesterday, after the release of the patch "2025.1.1 Patch 4".

Bit of an odd question that I'm not sure where else to ask: do you know if there's anything in particular that will break if I change the mass for large ammunition back to vanilla values in the spreadsheet? I'm not using the ship bundle, just trying to keep Enhanced Convoys Reports running without changing a ton of other stuff.

Without ship bundle I can still load game, without shared bundle loading my save causing game to close, so I thought this mod is the one to blame

And from what it sounds like having ships disappear is more related to the ship bundle and the shared bundle The shared bundle only adds supporting assets

This mod is not compatible in 2025.1
Well, I cannot hard Lock a user from loading this mod in a later version of the game than compatible. Doing so would break a save file

Is it intentional that the 20mm ammo types didn't receive the damage nerf that the vanilla game have?
I do note that the damage radius and damage effect radius is halved compared to vanilla though

[2024.1] Ship-Bundle (Beta WIP) and [2024.1] Shared Bundles for Entities have been updated yesterday in my Steam. Since yesterday (for all my existing and new careers) the game stops working in the middle of the North sea.

FYI my output_log.txt reports as follows:

Asset bundle at "E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\494840\2898164268\Bundles\entity-shared-bundle.equipment.equipment" doesn't contain a manifest file. It's required for all asset bundles to make them work with in-game resource system.

The same for:
Asset bundle at "E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\494840\2898164268\Bundles\entity-shared-bundle.equipment.shells.shells"

Load after ? do you mean placing Shared Bundles for Entities above the other mod? I tried both way but I think it doesn't work for personal in computer(as in not on steam) mods. (I like to merge mod if they conflict or for tweaking them). That's alright anyways, I just copy pasted this in a blank personal mod and manually merged parameters. I think the bundles will still be recognised by dependencies. At least my error log doesn't show any error with me playing with merged + BDU expanded and the german plane bundles

a mod which loads after this will overwrite the 88 & 20?mm prices. however this type of order change will require a new save.

also I would ensure that the overwrite mod also affects the generic "large" & "small" calibre purchase items , I have to modify these so they properly incorporate all the shells added by this mod. I change the mm range of the small & large calibre to include things which wouldn't get captured by vanilla data.

The only issue is that it makes this mod incompatible with mods like hard's deck gun, or the realistic ammo storage, any mod that want to make their own change like damage, specific amount of shell in the deck gun, even for price. Data sheets modding is not great for compatibility...

Yes, this mod changes the weight to match what I believe should be the entire shell en casing weight per round. I might be slightly off but I believe the game was significantly underrepresenting the weight.

Well I can confirm that mods that change player ammo (both 20mm and 88) don't work well with this mod. I tried reordering the mods in the launcher but it doesn't seem to do anything, 20mm rounds still weighs 0.18 and AP shell weighs 13.9.

Is it intended for the mod to change mass, price and damage of the player's shell ammo, and 20mm ammo ? I notice because 20mm in vanilla have a weight of 0.09 against this mod 0.18. This is noticeable if you check your flak storage on a 1939 type 7 start, the game starts you with 3000 rounds, which is more than the load capacity of the flak storage

so the bullets dont work on the type IIA++ because the 20mm spawns the bullet behind the player, and it immediately explodes .....
