Please let me know if there are any bugs with the new patch I should address (Wand of Vines is on my list).
Have you played with the most recent patch? I think shields are working on my end. If it only applies to some shields, let me know which ones and I'll look at their files.
I am also likely going to create a new set of items (probably 15-20) based on items in all the expansions. The Wondrous Item Pack mod is designed to always work with vanilla, so I haven't added guns, dragon equipment, etc to the pack. I'll be making a new small expansion pack to add these in (along with new eldritch lord equipment). Once it's completed, I'll add a link to that mod in the description of this one.
Sorry for the delay -- distracted by the new PoE league ;)
"your session is not broken. You just need to wait for the Mod Creators to update their mods to the newest version. Even if no changes have been made directly to their modified files, they still need to update with the newest version of our modding tools"
Not sure if I'd consider this a bug or what. But it works great when running a multiplayer game - until Age of Wonders itself updates (via hot fix or whatever).
Then when we try to resume, get a "You have an unknown conflict with the following mods: WONDROUS ITEM PACK (Your version 0.0.16) & won't let us load the game (It gives the "Ok" button which just... takes you back to the game selection screen).
Get the same error following on single player games - but it just warns you and then lets you load no trouble.
Essentially just having to restart multiplayer games whenever the game hotfixes or updates. Still keeping it for my single player games haha
@gibberingsen Interesting! I had no idea they were included in there! I'll post an excel file when I'm back home later this week.
