I think i just had to relaunch the game a couple of times to get all (or most) of the cards to load, so im assuming it was just my computer being slow. Error messages still show but i dont think they affect anything significant (at least nothing i noticed)

Hi, whenever i load the game, a bunch of the cards appear completely blank, as if they didnt load properly. I also get some error messages in the chat, something like "WWW Image Error: Unknown Error at (steamusercontent link)" Is this an error on my part?

in case anyone has been wondering, i tried loading godgame a day or two ago and it seems the filegarden issue has been fixed.

i got 1 error upon loading the game, but i went through all the cards and didnt notice anything missing or blank? idk

those things aren't in "thrillhouse edition" currently, so they're not on the thrillhouse edition rules document as of now. i believe some of those terms can be found on the "card submission guide", which we use when taking card submissions when streaming. you should be able to find it through the !guide command on my twitch channel, though please be warned it is not maintained as much as the thrillhouse edition player's guide!

Heya, just wanted to say I recently learned about this game, and it's crazy interesting! I'm hoping to round up some of my friends so we can play it soon.

I was wondering if there's an updated rules doc? When looking at other expansions and whatnot I saw mechanics like Burst and Mana, which I'm not sure how they work...

just wanted to let everyone know that we have, since december, been actively working on the filegarden issue. ETA of fixing it fully is at the end of the month at the earliest.

the reason it's seemingly taking so long is because we're also taking the opportunity to fix any errors and update some of the text on a bunch of pre-existing cards to make things clearer for everyone playing, and as you all know there are 2000 cards in this game so it's been a difficult task for... well, just me! the other developers are working on the next big expansion release, which is expected to be finished within two months of the reimport, so it's just been me working on this.

i truly appreciate the patience everyone's had in this regard.

hi! we're aware of the filegarden issue and have been looking into fixing it - it's just that it requires a mammoth amount of work on our part, as it would require reimporting basically the entire game.

not to say it won't be done, of course - just that we need to find a suitable filehost that won't cause issues in the future and can be used for this sort of storage. sincere apologies for the issues people have been having, it's been frustrating to try and figure out on our end to say the least

Same issue, filegarden links seem to be breaking, hundreds of blank cards with import errors even across multiple loads.

Theres something up with the filegarden links that causes the card faces to end up blank. Failing the SSL connection, or something.

The game is not loading properly for me. The cards cannot be drawn without them being blank and causing an error. Additionally, the counters seem to not load.

I was wondering if I can get a list of fonts used for this game? I've been having trouble trying to find them for my own funny lil' pack im making

Errors abound, nothing loads anymore.

first game took 10 minutes. first environment card was gigantic, and my opponent received toxicitry. i could not get anything on a board against someone with 25+vp. please make toxicitry's overwhatever more than 2 vp.

Every time I try to load this up it just shows error textures on the table, skybox, and half of the cards. Didn't do this when I first loaded it up and have deleted it and reinstalled. Anybody else have this issue?

@BonnieBoestar I’m using a lower end pc, no issues here. You may be encountering lag due to loading all of the assets. Once loaded the board works as normal.

Would love to play this but even on Very Low settings on my mid range PC, this lags HARD. I try to open it in singleplayer and it's running at a max of 15 frames with a noticeable delay to my movements. Is this just unavoidable with thousands of distinct card textures? How good are y'all's PC?

you simply have to deal with the consequences of your actions. if you milled a deck, it's gone, unless you have a way to shuffle them back into where they should be through the effects of a card

What happens if you reach the bottom of a deck? Do you shuffle the discard back into the deck?

This game is amazing the few times I've played with my friends but I'm wondering if there's either a fan made discord for people to play with other people or an official one because as far as I've looked I can't find one which sucks because I really want to play and try the game more.

the way we've always played is that taunt + flight only protects other flight cards. so, you could be targeted as normal, and so could the "B" card.

Flight cards have to be targeted before elusive cards. if there are only elusive and flight cards, you can still target the flight card even though usually you cant target flight unless theres no non-flight cards on the field.

thanks for the clarification on the taunt + elusive/repulsive, that came up in my group's games a lot. I have a question for a similar situation, say a player's field has one card with flight + taunt ("A"), and one other card ("B"). another player wants to attack with a card without any other statuses ("C"). C can't target A because A has flight and B and C don't. C can't target B or the player's health because A has taunt. would taunt and flight cancel each other out here as well? If so, would A still get the no-counterattack-damage bonus that flight gives? If B has elusive/repulsive does that change anything?

@Happy Plane: What about drawing one (or more) of cards from the Victory Deck? Or even getting to search through the deck and picking one? Since those are some of the best explore cards in the game and it sort of matches where Amazy Dayees will give you a lot of star points in Paper Mario? Just brainstorming here.
