I requested a refund after "struggling" for 30 minutes trying to read something on the screen with a resolution of 1280x720px. I gave up on the game. I can't read the text comfortably, even after disabling AA and using the BigFonts mod. It's impossible to play a game where we can't read the screens, tutorials, menus, etc. It seemed like a really good game, but... it's another one that doesn't scale fonts.

Why would anyone play on 1280 by 1024? This isnt the 90s

Seriously need an update for modern displays. Anything above 1080p is a pain to read even with this mod in-game.

Wow , I can actually read the help tutorial text. The difference is very minor though, is there anyway to make the text of everything a bit bigger? I guess I'm older then I had thought becuase I'm having trouible seeing it or maybe its because I can only play the game in windowed mode. Thanks it did help some !

It's a coincidence in this case. Steam's severs are not always stable for per-user features.
But thank you for bringing it up nonetheless. It's hard to find quirks like this that might as well been faulty on our side :)

I may have found a problem with this mod. I was trying to get the Bookworm achievement (read all tutorials), which I did and did not get the achievement. I reloaded the game, my last save, and still did not get the achievement. I disabled the BigFontMod, loaded my last save and then I got the achievement. Don't know if it was just a coincidence or a problem, so thought I would let you know.

All mods such as this one will soon be fixed. There was a pathing bug in the DLC system that caused problems with mods.

I loaded a saved game before the DLC and it appears the BigFont is still applied to it, with no mods enabled. However, if I check mark it agin in Mods, it hangs the save game load as if it trying to apply it a second time.

The mod no longer works with the DLC. I uninstalled all mods as the Devs said many would have problems. Thin I seen some post mention this mod would still work, so I installed it again. When loading my saved game, it hangs and have to use task manager to kill the non-responding game. Hope you can fix it.

I need do add that to get the best of it i needed to also disable AA in my game(tip from the user probe) as this was causing some blurry effect even with this mod(resolution 1280x1024).

This mod requires you to restart the game.
Which means you need to install -> activate (checkbox) -> exit the game

Doesn't appear to have any effect at 1366x768

People make sure you know how to install the mods correctly. After they are installed you must also click on the tiny circle to the right side. Then you must exit the game and start it up again. - Mod works fine on 1028 x 768.
