Old versions are posted in the discord every time there's an update

Hello Xevyr, trying to connect to a friends server which I have played on previously and it says wrong version of your Music Barrel Mod. Where can I download an older version to be compatible with the server?

No, that's total BS. Audio is entirely client-side and has zero effect on dedicated servers.

Hi Xevyr, Is it true that putting music to zones, generates a lot of lag in the servers? This mod has any of these limitations or points of attention to take into account for its use?

Yea, pretty much, I can only add things that I either have a license for that permits usage like this, or if it's made available by the rights holder to use for this scope with attribution / without.
That pretty much eliminates most copyrighted commercial music you'd hear on the radio etc.

However I'm in the process of making a second pack as one of our very own Conan modders is a music composer so they sent me a couple of songs and are making more :) You can check out some of their stuff that they made for their background music replacer here https://www.youtube.com/@HDR_Music/videos

It's a bit of a pain to find proper ones as for some reason music composers seem to think medieval bards ran around with synthesizers on their backs or something...

Hard to find music made with actual musical instruments that are also usable from a legal standpoint.. I bought several music asset packs and from dozens of songs I could only find those 4.. the rest were all digitally made, which are cool for a more modern setting, but don't fit this game at all, hence why I ended up having to use the ones by Alexander from that site (which are really really good btw I just don't want to overly rely on that one site lol)

I'm sure others will eventually upload some music packs for the mod too, since anyone can make them now that it has an API.

To be honest, i tried the first version of this mod when it was released, and i didn't like it.
So when i saw this update, i did want to give it another try and... oh.. I can't do without it now ! ^^
Do you plan to add some khitan/yamatai tavern music too ? or even some 'darker' themes ?
Anyway, LOVE IT ! =)
