this very much fits TF2's artstyle, however i think the cyan is too blue and therefore could clash with the red team.
if you could, maybe make some of the blotches more orange colored. 50/50 perhaps.

I like the Idea but I think the Red and Mint kinda clash, maybe try a team colored base and make the red line a darker Green for the Blu team and change the Mint to a "pink" for Red team
