Most of the Denial confession boss barks are bugged, they have weird strings in their barks so they look weird. Might just need some tweaking to fix them

CoffeyDude, unfortunately the bark effects can't be adjusted for length.
Shufflinghorror, unfortunately I can't adjust the location that a bark spawns on a character.
Literally a bark effect is just the id and chance to occur, there's not much more I can really control so I've just worked with what I've had.

Hello! Thank you for making this mod, I've really liked all the things it adds to the game. Personality and flavor are some of the things I love most about this game, and your mod adds to that.

I have a question: is there something that adds to the length of how long barks last? My eyes aren't great and it takes me longer to read the small text than it stays on the screen sometimes!

If you're making custom barks like the Death By A Thousand Barks mod on Nexus (great mod by the way) that just intends to add more lines of dialogue to the game, all you need is a txt file and enough understanding of the mod tools to know how to export a mod.
If you're trying to add custom triggers fro barks, that gets more complicated, but not ridiculously so. I'd say this mod is a good enough view of how simple it can be to add a bark effect to a trigger in the game, and with more understanding of the mod tools, it can be pretty simple to add your custom barks mod to the game.

Uh yeah basically I had tried to modify an enemy in the vanilla files to prove it was an issue that I couldn't fix because if the bark wouldn't execute from code in the base game it couldn't bark at all. I'm trying to get it to occur in the modded game as well to make sure it can work.

I just had a random moment where it decided to work again despite me not doing anything because I was playing kingdoms and an enemy barked and I'm rambling but holy fuck if it suddenly worked again then we are so back baby we are so back WE ARE SO BACK

I can confirm the mod is working again for some reason. It was a pleasant jumpscare to see enemies doing barks again

Yeah hi party people if you couldn't tell I've been doing just about anything else but this. It's partly because of college and partly because of waning interest and mostly because of the broken state of it. I've talked about it on the discord and we all agree the problem is literally that the game just... removed the ability for enemies to bark? It's the dumbest imaginable thing and the devs still believe it's a localization issue. If anyone has the date this mod stopped working then tell me so I can check an older version of the game. Or just load an older version of the game. Either might work.

* 狂热者 (虽然有点问题,但会在某个时候进行调查。它们在点燃后往往不会吠叫那么多,即使有保证吠叫的机会)

* 失落的营 (他们已经完成了 99%,已经在数据中实现了,真的没有理由我应该从当前版本中删除它们)

我几乎写完了,但还没有实现的派系;
* 邪教徒 (全部完成,除了延伸目标。也想把它们留到最后,原因很明显)

我才刚刚开始的派系;

this mod did make me giggle a bit, it is fun to have your enemies talk back to you. Also i think some of the lines are region specific which is a really nice feature, it may be a small mod but damn is it good.

It's currently broken right now, and I have no idea how to fix it. If Darkest Delight gives new skills to enemies then this mod won't work on those new skills, but otherwise it should still work.

Is this compatible with the overhaul mod: Darkest Delight ? I tried both of them on my save, but no bark ever happened. Perhaps I need a specific load order, but I haven't found it.

Yeah it reads straight from .txt files. Also turns out I got a *lot* of loc errors and the devs are quite frankly shocked it actually worked until whatever came upon the mod. I'll clean those up and see if that fixes it.

Your mod does have localization files. I guess DD2 reads directly from .txt (?) so it would just be a matter of translating those files to another language, and implementing those languages, however DD2 does it. In DD1, all languages were in the same localization files.

This is already my favorite mod so far, which is saying something, as I was sadly unable to even experience it, before it, unfortunately, decided not to work :D

This is probably the most immersive mod that I've gotten to play so far. I hope it gets fixed again soon, because the effect they have on the gameplay cannot be understated.

Okay so I don't understand why, but this mod just suddenly decided not to work. If I had to make a very wild guess it would be something related to the Inhuman Bondage/Kingdoms/Warhammer 40K Vs. Furries DLC in the same way the Binding Blade broke everything back on Nexus. I genuinely can't figure it out, as almost everything reads green except, explicitly, the bark effects, so I've already asked the devs and my next best idea is to try and make a whole new mod and see if it needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. I'll tinker with that, but just FYI, I wish I could fix this too. Look at them numbers. I can barely count that high. Hold on let me try...1 ...2 ...3 ...3.14 ...see, I can't do it.
