Okay so while I still love Rimworld and want to play, life very much grew for me. I’m now married and have a lot of other goals that are important for my future so here’s the deal goodfellas:

1. I still technically “own” the assets as this was commissioned, and will maybe one day update + overhaul this mod (both art and functions) the way I’ve been envisioning by again commissioning the incredibly talented modders on the Mod Market discord

2. Regardless of that, everyone is free to take these assets and update/overhaul as they’d like!
My only request is please include as the first line in your description, a link back to this page as the original source of your transformed mod

I would like this to encourage/motivate people to share their assets with this amazing community, so we can have more mods that everyone can enjoy :))

Am I the only one missing some armor from this mod since 1.6? Not bugging you for an update, just wondering if it's a problem on my end. Thanks.

@supasaiyajinrosekaiokenx I've never seen it at traders or as quest reward, so crafting is probably the pnly way to get it.

The previous version had CE support listed in their github. Is this new version "similar enough" for that same support to apply do you think? I will probably have to ask in their discord.

@Vendaplay I just felt like switching the helmets around, fits my vision of the two armors’ purposes better
For DLC needs, I changed recipes to be more specific and need items from them. If it doesn’t reflect in the mod menu, oops

Why swap the armor texture? In 1.4 V1 looked like V2 and V2 looked like V1. Also why does in the workshop page it says it needs DLC but in the Rimworld mod menu it does not?

Looks nice, but kinda weak for being Archotech.

I assume it to be a mishmash of cobbled together archotech items and materials to hopefully make something reminiscent of armour

Last I checked on his Kofi, Jango was also working on a huge personal project aside from probably life demands so it’s expected

@hamed91211173 no I'm doing my testing with just this mod, CE and the required dependants. Without CE the archotech armour is better but needs a patch to be better in CE game.

by the way are you installed Ancient Mech Armors MOD too maybe you mistaken armors from these two mods

It works but is considerably less powerful when compared to marine armour of the same quality, the comfortable temperature ranges are the same but not sharp or blunt. I'll take a crack at a patch, see if I can do it.

This looks dope, I'll check if it's CE friendly and if not I'll make a patch if possible
