@Unbloated you can disable chat messages using "sv_spawnprotection_notification 0"

It's cool but the message in chat that always appear when you die is kind of annoying ngl.
Could you make a cvar perhaps to disable it?

would it be possible to get an option to disable it if needed while the server is running? I need this sometimes for my friends and I but at other times we want to disable it without rebooting, that'd be awesome thank you.

i remember most effective spawn protection on sandbox servers was no collided cube with any player inside. AR2 energy ball was lethal tho.
